Welcome one and all to the 24th edition of Unknown Pleasures! If you're not sure what this is, please read this post and feel free to ask any questions in this thread! Basically everyone picks an obscure song (preferably one you like) and sends it to me via PM. Then I post them all in a new thread and you'll vote for your favorites, not knowing who sent what song. Then I'll count the results and present them in another thread, whilst revealing the entry of each participant! It's very fun, so fun that we've done this 23 times already!

To get started, pick an obscure song and http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?act=Msg&CODE=4&MID=19534. (Do NOT post it in this thread or anywhere on the site!) Here are the details I need:

Audio link: (Youtube/Soundcloud/Anything else that works)
MP3 link: (You can save this for later as long as I have it before the deadline. If you don't send an MP3 link I will probably pester you via PM!!)

As always, here are the rules we must adhere to:
1. There's no limit to the genre or length of songs in this contest, so be adventurous!
2. The artist or band of your choice must not have ever reached the UK Top 75 singles chart or the UK Top 40 albums chart.
3. The song must not be on the current UK release schedule.
4. The song must not have been previously sent to http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=139865, http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=193320, or http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=104463. The lists are in those links, please check them so the mods don't have to!
5. If two people choose the same artist or band, the one who submitted their entry first will be allowed to enter the act. You're encouraged to enter an act that has never been submitted here - it's called Unknown Pleasures for a reason!
6. Our Indie forum moderators have the right to refuse an entry if they feel it goes against the spirit of the competition.
7. Do NOT, under any circumstance, reveal or even hint at your entry at any point during the contest - it's called Unknown Pleasures for a reason! (I said that already, but this is another reason )

The deadline to sign up is THURSDAY, MAY 11TH, at 23:59 UK TIME. You can reserve a spot now if you don't have a song yet, just leave a post in this thread. There's a general limit of 30 entries, at the discretion of the mods once we see how many are interested.

And also, what happens in the case that two of us pick the same song? Do we get to re-pick or is that it gone?

I believe the first person who submitted it gets to keep it (unless the mods reject it), and only the other person will know their entry was taken. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but either way the chances of it happening are very slim!

Sorry, still waiting on potential vetoes! I'm prepping the voting thread so it can be ready to post as soon as that's sorted, but that might be another day or so.

I'm putting them in a folder! You'll get the link within a day or two of the voting thread* being posted. Anyone who wants to make a Spotify playlist is more than welcome, I'm guessing some tracks won't be on it and I'm not adept enough to make one myself.
