It was never looking even a bit close in the bit I watched. I know it's only 'what ifs' at this point, but maybe had Anderson not played up to twenty six sets the other day, it might have been something to write home about? I think they need to introduce a tiebreak to the Men's, apparently it's there in the Women's and other tournaments so it's not like it's too much breaking of tradition.

The womens at Wimbledon doesn't have a tie-break in the final set either but they don't have long final sets because it's easier for them to break serve.
I agree they should restrict the final set now. Maybe let them play to 12-12 and then have a tie-break. That way,it's the equivalent of one more set. |

Djokovic won in straight sets. I was watching the football but will catch the highlights at 11pm. Barry Davies has just finished commentating on the mixed doubles final, his final ever commentary. I've grew up listening to him and John Motson covering the football for the BBC. End of an era. End of an commentating era. Him and Motty two of the well known commentators on the BBC. If this occured more frequently in regards to a long set then it should be looked at. |

I'm not sure if he did Wimbledon last year but he's been there most years.
