I'm very excited. I hope it's better than the overrated 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. There's definitely just as much pressure on them to knock this one out the park.

Watching this in a couple of hours. Not expecting much but I’m hyped to hear Whitney music in a biopic lol.

I have a feeling it’s gonna be just as trite as Bo Crap though. We shall seeee!

Really bad. sad.gif

Performances were actually solid! But the screenplay and story was pretty much non-existent and for someone who has had one of the most storied and prolific careers in music history, how do you butcher it that bad? sad.gif

I'm blaming the writer (who also wrote Bo Crap) for destroying her story. It just felt like bullet points in movie form. It was a mess tbh and I'm really annoyed and angry about it </3 She deserved better.

I thought this was fine, didn't feel like it dragged despite being almost two and a half hours, but didn't think it went that deep and it was just reeling off the moments in her life/career. No need to watch it again and not awards worthy, but don't feel like I wasted my time by going to see it.

Finally watched this film and unsurprisingly I completely disagree with Tafty's impression.
It is very entertaining. The drama was on point imo, I didn't want to see more arguments between her and Bob Brown for example. I never knew she had had a relationship with another woman. Sadly her father was a mercenary, talking about money just before dies. Good film imo.

I know a lot of people who really enjoyed it. So it's always best to make up your own mind with it. Plenty to like in there, I just think the structure and screenplay was horrendous and her story deserved better.
