Sunday Chart Predictions
Predicting the 02/11 to 08/11 chart Jameela: Ed Sheeran's second EVER number one!!!1! Following his X Factor performance at the weekend, Ed Sheeran is aiming to score his second number one with 'Thinking Out Loud'. If he manages this, it will give him the record for the slowest climb to #1 in a single spell inside the Top 40, replacing Celine Dion's 'Think Twice' which took 13 weeks (Ed will have taken 19 weeks). What looks to be the only new entry to the Top 10 is German house music producer Parra for Cuva's cover of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game', re-titled 'Wicked Games' and featuring the vocals of Anna Naklab. Also entering the Top 40 should be 'I Lived' by OneRepublic (who also performed on X Factor) and 'Style' by Taylor Swift, following the release of her album. This said album, titled 1989 is Taylor's 5th album and is looking to be her second #1. Ed Sheeran should occupy the #2 spot and OneRepublic may re-enter the Top 10 with their respective albums following X Factor performances, and could be joined by new albums from Mallory Knox, Black Veil Brides and Annie Lennox. Other new entries may include Yusuf & Cat Stevens, Rancid, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Ting Tings, Worship Central and two Led Zeppelin re-releases. In the compilations, BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge 2014 should occupy top spot. ======================================================= Please note new changes to the Sunday Chart Predictions thread topic: Tuesday/Thursday - There will be no mids from MW for Tuesday and Thursday, however they may come from other sources - this is not always guaranteed. You can still post your own predictions for the week to generate chat to the topic. Wednesday - Radio 1 Chart Top 40 mid update will be posted with links to Radio 1 and any other chart info from MW and OCC from 3:30pm to 4pm Friday - Final Mid update from MW from 11am onwards. Sales info is a separate issue will be available from 2pm onwards if available. To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action please refer to the iTunes thread topic. |

Hopefully we get some confirmation soon, its half term, some people have got a lot of time on their hands and post a few fakes online.

this is the same Mint Royale who had a #1 single many years ago so he may still have access to insider info, so I'd say it's likely to be true

Those sales for Tayor are completely realistic IMO. She had huge pre-orders.
Great for Ed too. I hope x has had a great sales increase. |
