Next album by Drake has been comfirmed for June and it's called Scorpion. It's expected to include "Nice For What" and prehaps "God's Plan".
King is coming again!

How do we know it's the 28th of June?
I hope it includes "God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity"
Nice, further chart domination is coming
Excited. Drake just keeps bringing it so I'm expecting great things here.
Not looking forward to God's Plan dropping 25-OUT and then coming back at 30 two weeks later though
I'm pretty sure Drake is gunning for Glee's Hot 100 record so it won't happen, but I'd really like to see him just do a standard 45 minute project rather than the 90 minute nonsense he's done the last 2 years.
I fully expect the album will have about 30 tracks just so Drake can beat his own record for most tracks simultaneously in the Hot 100, and of course get closer to the Glee Cast record. I'm sure the entire album will chart in the Hot 100 no matter how long it is though, only a true king. *_
I wonder if it's not entirely out of the question that he could end up matching The Beatles' achievement of holding the entire top 5 on the Hot 100 when the album comes out? Probably won't happen but if anyone could do it it's Drake right now.
Is it confirmed to be called an album? Not a mixtape or a project or anything else that could easily be 40 tracks long. More Life dragged on a bit for me, I love Drake but there is such a thing as too much Drake and a lot of the songs on there were overshadowed by the bigger stuff (eg. Passionfruit). Views was a solid album so something similar to that would be nice, and judging by Nice For What i think he’s gonna hit us with some bangers *.*
I have a feeling the Scary Hours tracks will be omitted, and instead will just serve as an extra EP. Like Summer Sixteen or Hotline Bling
God's Plan is too big to be omitted. Diplomatic Immunity will almost certainly not make the album though.
Yeah, I feel it'll be like how he chucked out 4 singles at once in late 2015 (and another in early 2016), but of them only Hotline Bling was tacked onto the end of Views because it had the best numbers going for it.
Drake is reportedly dating Latyesha Grace from Big Brother UK 2016!!
what a step down from J-Lo well, she's not bad looking though.
There are now reports that he dated RAYE a few weeks ago
His album is meant to be out in 11 days and still no tracklist
So his album is out same say as Florence’s
Now ihate him even more :/
just checked and Drake's Views did 78K in week 1, More life did 62K
Florence's latest did 68K
so should be close, but think streams are even more poular now and specially Drakes, so think he has the advantage :/
HBHBHB also came after a decently popular single as well didn’t it? This era so far has fallen a bit flat in comparison tbh so they could open with even less
Can see Drake doing 60k. Imagine Florence will do 50k.
Gorillaz' The Now Now is also out on the same day, what did Humanz open with?
Florence will sell More but Drake will be streamed more. If Post Malone had 30k or more streaming sales for his album then Drakes will be much higher probably around whatever Ed sold with Divide on his debut week (streaming sales only here).
More Life wasn’t a UK number one album however was it? I’m sure Divide beat it to #1 yet it still had big sales first week.
Hopefully Florence gets it debut week then Drake by big streams default the week after.
Looking forward to this on the 29th!
Looks like Gorillaz will be Number 3 then!
Still no tracklist yet then? Seemingly very little hype surrounding this release but of course Drake's name will sell it no matter how little pre-release hype it has. Would still like to know how many tracks there are and who the guests will be.
Is this coming out tonight?
I'm trying to remember if More Life was the same but I can't think! Excited for the release either way
Double album with 25 tracks (title names posted on his insta), no news of features yet.
Will be absolute scenes if the entire Top 5 (or even Top 10!) is taken over by Drake in the US. It's very possible indeed.
Tracklist http://www.brandnew.hiphop/drakes-scorpion-album-tracklist-revealed/ and shame “Diplomatic Immunity” isn’t on there but at least it’s got “God’s Plan”
talk absolutely bloated arrogance of a tracklist
i imagine it’ll play more like a collection of tracks
Well thank goodness for the 3 track rule.
“In My Feelings"?
a cover of the Lana classic??
Well if every track does end up charting on Billboard, he'll slim down Glee's margin from 42 to 20.
It's wild, and a tad ridiculous that Drake will have released roughly 6 hours of music since 2015, not including features!
I wonder now if there will actually be any features. Usually a track list reveal would reveal the guests but seemingly there aren't any.
Hyped for this regardless tho.
Drake would genuinely break Spotify if he did a collab with Post Malone
Apparently Mob Ties features Travis Scott, so there might be other features that are just not revealed yet.
I can’t see this on Spotify, I’m guessing it is released on American time or something
Well... I didn't see a Michael Jackson feature coming! *_*
(Source: Apple Music on Twitter, perhaps there's more features to be announced with the lack of Travis Scott there but that's what I can find so far)
Interesting that it’s A side & B side, maybe signalling two different styles? Nice For What is more 90s sounding than Gods Plan or I’m Upset (which are more 2018 in trend). Jay Z on A and MJ on B fit this theme too
i think A side is rap, B side is rbnb
The Travis Scott thing turned out to be wrong it seems but there are a few more uncredited features.
Guessing this MJ song is probably gonna be the next hit from the album. Intrigue ~
Really wanna buy this but wonder if it’s gonna be download only like More Life or if they’ll be a CD version of the album.
I’ve skimmed through a bit but wow I’m shook, the second half of the album is actually quite good
Summer Games is my early favourite
I think this is download exclusive like More Life was
this is very monotone and he sounds asleep and bored most of the time
and sampling emotions, really? can someone go lower? yes, by using a MJ demo :/
Drake is far far far from the first to posthumously include MJ on a song, plus it’s actually a good song albeit not the best on the album.
Can’t Take A Joke and Rachet Happy Birthday are the worst ones on each side tbh. I definitely prefer the b side although sometimes I think Drake wishes he was British
The CD version will be released on 20th July according to amazon
Hmm, it's quite decent overall but far too long and samey, quite a bit of filler. More Life was a tough one to beat though (even with the filler that one had) and I can't see him ever doing it now.
Will have to take another listen to the ones I liked to really pick out my faves but the Michael Jackson one is the real standout here amongst the ones we haven't heard before, I expect that will be the new single though as it's song #1 on Hot Hits UK and New Music Friday.
Just me who thinks the A Side is generally better then? Some of the B Side ones were really boring.
Love this album from Drake, prefer the A side to the B side. Finding the B side a little too samey.
Gonna give this and Florence a listen later after chart show. The MJ song is gonna be great, I know it already
Listened to Side B ... mostly went over my head to be honest but alright as background noise. The MJ collab is excellent though, love it! Also already loved "Nice For What".
Absolutely smashing it on Spotify! Including the entire top 23 on US Spotify *.* Also the entire top 12 on UK and Global.

Don't Matter To Me a stroke of genius from him with the late Michael Jackson.
Enjoying this more and more. Prefer side B to side A but like what I’m hearing. Listening more before I can tell what my favorites are but it sounds great in this weather!
It's Drake US chart history time! Thanks to chart data on twitter...
Drake breaks the record for most debuts in the US top ten in one week (four, beating the J. Cole record of three)
He also has the most songs held in the top ten at one time (seven, beating The Beatles' record of five).
He is the first artist to debut multiple songs in the top 10 simultaneously twice in one year.
He surpasses Taylor Swift as the artist with the most top 10 debuts (16 of them)
Nice For What is the first song in history to have four separate runs at #1.
Drake also holds 27 songs in the chart including all 25 tracks from the album.
Only Madonna (38) and The Beatles (34) hold more top 10 hits than Drake (31), now tied with Rihanna (31). Michael Jackson gets his 30th as feature on DMTM.
He now has 186 US chart hits, getting very close to the Glee record (207).
The last album to hold seven top 10 hits was 'Rhythm Nation 1814' by Janet Jackson. It is the first to hold that many top 10 hits in this century.
Here are all his chart entries then...
01. Nice For What (#6 last week, 8th week at #1)
02. Nonstop
04. God's Plan (#9 last week, spent 11 weeks at #1)
06. In My Feelings
07. I'm Upset (#26 last week, new peak)

Only a true king. *.*
Until the next big hip hop release seriously these records are gonna get broken every single year from now on.
I don't think so (not for a while anyway). There really is no one bigger than Drake, and Billboard may well change their chart rules to prevent things like this happening in the future anyway.
The only person who could beat all these records is... you guessed it, Drake!
Fair point!
I just feel all these records of his are so inflated.
I don't hate on him nor do I care for him (and one might say what am I doing here lol) but seriously you just can't make comparisons of those records with let's say ''The last album to hold seven top 10 hits was 'Rhythm Nation 1814' by Janet Jackson''.
How well his album will be remembered let's say in 30 years time?!
The album itself may not be remembered all too well but Drake as an artist certainly will be.
Maybe not the album but the singles will definitely be remembered (for the most part anyway). Gods Plan is undoubtably the biggest song of the year worldwid
sure but no one will remember nonstop in 3 weeks already
this is not a record, it's just billboard having stupid rules
the uk system is far from perfect with the 3-track rule but much better than the billboard rules, or lack of, since anything counts for both charts,
even single downloads on itunes count for the album charts
i'm not even following billboard charts anymore due to their stupid made up rules, especially since the tour bundles counting for the album charts
I mean, have chart records based on initial hype weeks ever been particularly meritorious? Oasis sold 400,000 copies of Be Here Now in one day in the UK just because they were Oasis, even though no one ever wants to listen to the album because it blows. *NSYNC sold 2.4 million copies of "No Strings Attached" on opening week in the US because they were *NSYNC. Ed Sheeran had his entire album in the top 20 singles chart because he was Ed Sheeran. Drake is pulling these records because he's Drake, that's all there is to it.
That all being said, I'd be interested in how the people who are naturally consuming Drake's material feel about it in the long run. I see Kanye fans talking in reverence about songs like "Runaway" and "Ultralight Beam" far more than some of his bigger hits, but to someone outside of the scope, those songs are just redundant fodder that charted as high as they did on his name alone, and left no lasting impression. In terms of "Scorpion", I'd like to see the same for "Mob Ties" or "Summer Games", two different sides of the Drake coin that accomplish their goals very well.
Drake did a Fire in the Booth last night!
Who is that host and why is he constantly yelling and making annoying sound effects
'In My Feelings' up to #1 on US Billboard and #1 in the UK midweek chart. Going to be massssssssssive.
In My Feelings is actually one of the worst songs on the album imo, but this always happens with his big hits (e.g. One Dance)
"In My Feelings" breaks the all-time US single week streaming record (116.2 million).
Another week, another record broken. KING.
yes KING *.* Keep those haters pressed *.*
I wonder if Dont Matter To Me could’ve been a #1 if it was released a week before the album, it probably wouldve spent a second week with bonus album streams too.
Easily has another few weeks at #1. Would say either this or One Kiss is song of the summer!
Video also for 'Nonstop' was released as well:
4 weeks at #1 for 'In My Feelings', yet another hit for Drake for him.
Apparently the Michael Jackson collab has been announced as the next single.
Yes, seems pretty much confirmed that Don't Matter To Me will be the next single.
This is straight up BOPS
he’s the king of his genre for me.
Forgot how good this actually was until I listened again earlier on.
