I'm so proud of her and i'm so glad she knows she did nothing wrong.

It doesn't stop it from being so heartbreaking though.

I’m not religious yet it still saddened me how she ended that video saying she doesn’t believe in God anymore. Totally understandable though, she says it herself.

Clearly the comment “praying for you to get better” has touched a nerve in Britney. She sees how this apparent concern ultimately comes down to money. Her family has really dehumanised her and only sees her as an ATM. :\

There appears to be no gratefulness or realisation from any of the family that the lifestyles to which they’ve become accustomed to is all down to Britney. They’ve wanted and expected her money for years. Her being in a conservatorship clearly suited them just fine. I’m so glad she’s taking a defiant stand, even though it must be so painful.

I’ve seen a fair few commenters criticising Britney for carrying this out in public eye, and that infuriates me, because - however childish this sounds - Kevin started it. He’s exploited his sons’ relationship with their mother for a pay cheque. I don’t hold it against Britney whatsoever for her to decide to respond via social media. Why she’s always expected to be silent or take the high road, I’m really not sure. Their interviews are essentially a smear campaign. After 15 years of effectively being silenced, she can use her voice how she wants. She has the right to add her two cents & defend her character.

i am very confused at the kid's statements tbh - they know Toxic and Baby One More Time and they must know she wasn't under a conservership then.

What have Lynne and Jamie told them about their presence during those times?

It's gross just HOW QUICK it took Kevin & Co to use her kids as a weapon against. They know she has a voice now and they are fearful that she is actually managing to capably stand up for HERSELF and bite back. I am so, SO proud that she's even taking a stand against her boys! Very shocked, but SO proud. They're being brainwashed and conditioned to think one way by their father & the rest of Team Con and it's utterly disgusting.

She deserves a damn break, man. She does not deserve ANY of this sad.gif

Couldn't think of where to post this but this topic is generally about her kids, so...

Britney Spears “consents” to her ex-husband Kevin Federline moving their two sons to Hawaii, Page Six has exclusively learned.

The pop star’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, fired off a letter to the former backup dancer’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, on Wednesday responding to the latter publicly announcing the Federline family’s intention to relocate from California.

Rosengart notes that the former couple’s eldest son, Sean Preston, “will no longer be a minor” when he turns 18 in September, while their younger son, Jayden, 16, is also “nearing the age of maturity.”

“To her credit, Britney Spears will not interfere with and consents to the relocation,” he writes in the letter, which we obtained.

Rosengart says he “did not anticipate a dispute” when Kaplan first contacted him about the move in April, sharing that he urged his counterpart at the time to keep the matter “private for the sake and dignity of all parties involved, including the children.”

“I was particularly concerned because your client previously — and appallingly — violated their privacy, while egregiously violating Britney’s privacy, by releasing a private video of Britney with her children, which was preceded by a tabloid television interview,” the former federal prosecutor writes, referencing footage of Spears scolding Preston and Jayden and Federline’s subsequent ITV appearance last year.

Rosengart goes on to slam Kaplan for talking to media outlets including TMZ and “Entertainment Tonight” earlier this month about Federline threatening to take Spears to court if she did not approve the move to Hawaii, where his wife, Victoria Prince, received a job offer.

“It was more than disappointing that you nevertheless chose to publicize this matter, creating unnecessary drama and a false ‘dispute’ by publicly discussing the issue and your letter,” he writes. “When I called you yesterday to express my dismay that you had done so, you denied doing so. Apparently, you did not realize that [TMZ’s]May 30 story itself literally quotes you as the story’s source.”

Rosengart says Kaplan’s interviews “served no good faith purpose,” calling them “undignified, ungracious and unnecessary.”

“It was also ironic, given the statement in your April 28 letter that in addition to an employment opportunity in Hawaii for Mr. Federline’s wife, the children wanted to be ‘more sheltered from the media’s scrutiny.’ That is commendable. But your media interview did nothing to shelter them; instead, it publicized the issue in the media,” he writes.

The Greenberg Traurig partner concludes his letter by praising his Grammy-winning client as “an icon, loved and respected by millions throughout the world,” as well as a “loving and supportive mother, faithfully supporting” her kids despite their estrangement.

Spears, 41, and Federline, 45, were married from October 2004 to July 2007. She wed Sam Asghari in June 2022, while the DJ tied the knot with Prince in August 2013.

In addition to Preston and Jayden, Federline shares daughter Kori, 20, and son Kaleb, 18, with his ex-fiancée Shar Jackson and daughters Jordan, 11, and Peyton, 9, with Prince.

The rules for child support in Hawaii is that if they're enrolled in education, then it continues until the age of 23. There's theories online that this is a reason why the move is happening, allegedly. dry.gif

Oh he is... I actually feel sick.

Is there not any kind of law that prevents that from happening if you're recently moved there or something? :\

Surely Rosengart spoke to Britney about that?

I guess there is nothing they can do, or they have probably decided it isn't worth the hassle fighting it. I guess in the long run Britney is a very wealthy woman and it isn't going to make much difference to her financially even if it is utterly sickening. sick2.gif
