T-minus 20 days! I have a rough idea of what the top regions should look like but I'll finalise it over the coming weeks!
For now, these are my top 20 albums of 2022! To clarify - The albums included have to have been released in 2022 OR had prominent chart impact in 2022 (this is to allow 2022 albums to fairly be represented, otherwise Taylor Swift's back catalogue would fill the entire top 10 laugh.gif)

#20: PLANET ZERO - SHINEDOWN

Definitely influenced my my Dad's love for this album and so hearing it so often playing somewhere in the house has helped it! SHINEDOWN's song 'MONSTERS' was a prominent member of my playlist in 2019/2020 (before my personal charts) and so was the album it was from so when I heard about PLANET ZERO it was also on my radar. I had 2 major standouts from this album; 'Saints of Violence & Innuendo' and 'A Symptom of Being Human' and despite their poor charting on my personal chart (#43 and #49 respectively) the album has been prominent enough to make my Top 20 of the year!

Personal Chart data:

#3 Albums Chart Peak

Singles Chart:
15.07.22 | 43 Saints of Violence & Innuendo [1 week]
15.07.22 | 49 A Symptom of Being Human [1 week]

#19: SOUR - Olivia Rodrigo

My #1 album of 2021, SOUR just about holds in this years top 20! We had no new music from Olivia this year, but a DIsney+ documentary gave it a pretty decent boost and regular streaming throughout the year keeps it up here!

Personal Chart Data:

#1 Albums Chart Peak

Singles Chart:
First Charted Peak Title
21.05.21 | 1 good 4 u
21.05.21 | 5 deja vu
21.05.21 | 21 drivers license
28.05.21 | 3 hope ur ok
28.05.21 | 2 happier
28.05.21 | 3 traitor
28.05.21 | 11 1 step forward, 3 steps back
28.05.21 | 15 brutal
04.06.21 | 16 enough for you

#18: The Whole Story - Kate Bush

An album DEFINITELY not released in 2022, but it had a big enough impact to make the EOY top 20 albums! Kate Bush's 'Greatest Hits' album had a big boost following Running Up That Hill's atronomical rise in the summer of this year following Stranger Things, and the album did well also! RUTH spent 4 weeks at #1 and is one of the biggest hits of the year, both here and in the UK charts and the album too!

Personal Chart Data:

#1 Albums Chart Peak

Singles Chart:
03.06.22 | 1 Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)
10.06.22 | 9 Wuthering Heights
10.06.22 | 33 Babooshka

I can't say I'm too much of an albums person, but I did enjoy Daylight from that Shinedown album!

#17: You Signed Up For This - Maisie Peters

Another non-2022 album, YSUFT was one of the biggest albums of last year, and this year Maisie has continued to be huge getting 4 personal chart #1s! You Signed Up For This also had a big enough impact this year, mainly due to the fact I got to see Maisie live this year wub.gif After my GCSE exams I got tickets to Ed Sheeran at Wembley... specifically to see Maisie as the opener laugh.gif which boosted the album this year! Maisie is one of the biggest artist on my charts and her 2nd album is confirmed to come out some time next year so I'm looking forward to that!
