My rank of the songs so far:
01. Racing Stripes 02. Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You) 03. Everything Else Has Gone Wrong 04. I Can Hardly Speak The top 3 all made the top 10 of my personal chart and 'I Can Hardly Speak' is in the top 20 too, so it's safe to say that I'm enjoying this era <3 |

This is a pretty solid return on first listen on my way home this evening, looking forward to giving it another spin over the weekend.

This was so worth the wait since the last album a must for my vinyl collection!
I already adored all of the singles + my favourite album tracks are 'Let You Go', 'Get Up' and 'Do You Feel Loved?' on first listen I must applaud the track-list choices as 'Get Up' and 'Racing Stripes' felt like the perfect intro + outro tracks <3 |

I feel like this is a strong contender for my album of the year already - literally the only song on there that I'm not super sold on is 'People People' (I did like it but find it a little forgettable compared to the rest). Feels very cohesive as well, like Jade said the opening and closing tracks feel perfectly placed, they feel like intro and outro tracks but also like songs that would work perfectly outside of the album context too.
'Do You Feel Loved?' is my favourite of the album tracks (even if it's another one following the structure of running out of lyrics and just repeating itself halfway through lol), such a feel good song <3 'Good Day' a relatively close second. 'I Can Hardly Speak' is probably my 2nd favourite Bombay Bicycle Club song to date now as well (it'll be very tough for them to ever top 'Luna' but this isn't a million miles off), the structure of the song with the higher and lower pitched hooks coming together at the end reminds me of 'O.N.E' by Yeasayer (which is very high praise from me xx). So happy that they reunited and are sounding better than ever |

A video for 'Is It Real' was released a few days ago, I think this might be my fave on the album now!

Good choice! "I Can Hardly Speak", "Good Day" and "I Worry Bout You" I think would also be good choices. This is a great album, my favourite of albums released this year so far (of the ones I've heard).

It's not as good as their debut but it is excellent and this would be a great third single!

Just listening to NMF on Spotify and their cover of 'Lose You to Love You' sounds great! Much better than Selena's, there's actually some life and feeling in the song.

Enjoyed that! Looking forward to the rest of them, especially 'Is It Real' - I could listen to any version of that song. And 'Two Lives' is also a Bonnie Raitt cover.
