I think I'm going to opt for Who's That Girl to depart before the top 10 - not that it deserves to, just that the style is more The Knife than Robyn so I can imagine it not totally appealing to everyone.

But seriously everything left is just too good.

11. Missing U (8.63)

Missing out on a top 10 placing is Honey’s lead single- Missing U. I’m sad to see this leave us here as it’s become one of my favourite Robyn singles- the bass coming in over the twinkly electronic production at the beginning is truly euphoric and pop magic and such an exciting welcome back to Robyn who had been absent from releasing music for so long!

I think Missing U is great, a shame it didn't quite make top 10

10. Handle Me (8.65)
9. Do It Again (with Royskopp) (8.78)

Opening our top 10 is Handle Me- a song I was surprised to see claim a top 10 space over Missing U- not that I’m complaining it’s a brilliant song and one of her career highlights for me! At number 9 we have Royskopp collab Do It Again- another highlight for me and one of the first Robyn songs I heard that made me get into her back catalogue and become such a stan!

Any guesses on what will leave us before we get to our top 5?

Personally would want Who's That Girl and Hang With Me out next, would certainly have those two below the last few to have left. Indestructible as the other?

8. Indestructible (8.83)
7. Be Mine! (8.85)

Sad to see both these out so early but particularly Be Mine!- one of my all time favourites of hers and I’d go as far as to say of the entire 2000s- such a fun pop song and that speaking part during the bridge is fantastic. Indestructible was SO close to the number 7 spot (0.02!!) and honestly it’s done better here than I expected- definitely thought Do It Again and Missing U would be above it so that’s a pleasant surprise!

What will leave us before our top 5?

Left in alphabetical order are-
Call Your Girlfriend
Dancing On My Own
Hang With Me
Honey
Who’s That Girl
With Every Heartbeat

'Who's That Girl' has done very well here! I wouldn't have called it getting this high.

6. Who’s That Girl (8.88)

Mirroring the last 2 comments, Who’s That Girl has done really well, proud of it smile.gif. One of my favourites off her self-titled album and I was happy to see it get so many consistently high scores- slightly more classically-dance influenced than some of her more straight electronic-synthy productions and I think that’s where it’s gained it’s fans! Sad to see it just miss our top 5 though sad.gif

I didn’t vote I’m this as I only know 4 or 5 of Robyns songs but Be Mine is firmly my second favourite behind Dancing On My Own.

Both pop gems.

5. Honey (8.95)

At number 5 we have our highest charting track off Robyn’s latest album and the title track- Honey. This song was SO close to getting my 11 it truly is just mesmerising and transports you to somewhere else! Her vocals are some of my favourites ever from her, the delivery is immaculate

Honey! wub.gif

I love this, the absolute centrepiece of the album and definitely one of her very best singles. Agree that the delivery on the track is great

4. Hang With Me (9.13)

Look at that score wow! Before we start our top 3 we lose the sublime Hang With Me at number 4. As much as I adore this song there are a few that I would have placed above it :/ these being Be Mine!, Honey and Indestructible but Buzzjack decides and says that this is her 4th best single.

3. Call Your Girlfriend (9.6)

At number 3 we have the FABULOUS, Call Your Girlfriend, definitely Dancing On My Own’s relative in terms of production. Such a fun number scoring 12 scores of 10 as well as 2 11 scores!!! I’d personally put it above one of the songs in the top 2 as well but to see it come top 3 against some true brilliant numbers is wonderful to see!

So we reach our top 2 but what will win?

With Every Heartbeat
Dancing On My Own

It should have been a Call Your Girlfriend vs Dancing On My Own top 2 tbh. WEH is soooo overrated.
