So it looks like this is a sad banger type of song from her Zane Lowe interview ("classic emotive dancefloor moment") and the video represents the whole album

It's also one of Ariana's top 3 on the album - sooo hyped to hear

Hoping this is more my bag than what yes, and? Was which still hasn’t really hit me yet.

I know when Ari can bring it she really does bring it though and she’s amongst my favourites ever.

Hyped for her saying this amongst her favourites (yet at the same time she’s openly called many of my personal favourites by her as being some of her least favourite and some of her favourites are quite questionable given what she’s capable of). This is what I’m most hyped to hear though from the album.

On first listen this is my potentially my favourite thing she’s done since the Sweetener era! Gorgeous and definitely a strong single choice (almost wish this was the lead) but this is definitely the side of Ariana that I love.

This is absolutely my favourite thing she's done since the mid 00's. I adore yes, and? As well but this tops that 100% for me. Killer video and luscious vocals. Killer combo. Come on queen. I totally get the Robyn vibes and as someone said already, it's very trustfall as well. I do think this is my favourite kind of pop music with the aynths and bass. It's awesome.

Also, that mash up is exquisite.

Incredible how it’s managed to actually climb throughout the weekend when new tracks (whether it’s from a popular artist or not) tend to fall off and start climbing again from Tuesdays update. Very promising sign for this to be an absolute huge SMASH.

That's extremely deserved So great to see quickly turning into a smash. Also climbs to #4 on UK Spotify.

It's predicted to be #5 in the next Billboard Hot 100, but with it going from strength to strength on streaming that should improve as the week goes on.

There is something quite poetic (and funny) about this becoming a smash after people had begun to write her off after the relationship drama and lead single (hysterics about her entering her flop era).

I might be being biased/dramatic/caught in the moment but this honestly feels like a landmark anthem that will endure for her, like Run Away With Me/Into You type level from the 2010s for the gays but being a massive hit as well. It’s just such a flawless song and it seems to be hitting so widely, I think it could even end up being THE song people think of when they think of Ariana in years to come.

Up to #3 on U.K. Spotify (557k streams) and now #1 on U.S. Spotify she hangs on to Global #1 with a new high of 9.1 million streams. Absolutely thrilled that it's doing so well <3 I echo the sentiment that it's already one of her best ever singles.

This is such a joy to watch. Immediately it has become my favourite Arianna song. There's no other way to describe this aside from Perfect for me. No faults. No flaws. Nada. I never thought I'd love another Ari song as much as I did no tears left to cry and one last time, etc... but here we are.

I think this is perhaps her most relatable song she’s ever done? She’s been a real hit maker but I think lyrically speaking this is something what’s so easy to connect with in some form or other and the video really tells a story as well. I think it’s connecting outside of her usual audience too.

Never been a huge Ariana fan but was always interested in hen she released new music - this song and video hits me hard! I am in a loving stable relationship but watching the video when Ariana goes through the memories then breaks down and all the items get burned destroys every time - so so good - this deserves to be massive on the scale of Miley Cyrus - Flowers

Excited this is smashing, certainly one of my favourite singles from her despite the fact I tend to stan a big gay pop song or sexy anthem. I really resonate with this one (and the whole album in general) due to how my life seems to have aligned with the subject matter.

Ariana’s 9th #1 there now. It’s her 7th #1 debut on the Hot 100 so she surpasses Taylor Swift as the woman with the most #1 debuts and is second to Drake overall.

It rose up quickly,looking like it would be a hit, andthen quixkly peetered out and fellaway. So it'sclear payola has stabilised it and fan listens got it up to #2 first week, but itwas dropping all week after a couple hogh days of sales to secure the no.2, thanks to the fans. In the modern streaming age, a minor top 10, even for a few weeks, is barely a hit, and for someone likeAriana it's just floppy. Look at Taylor and Beyonce for a comparison! Those are hits.
