Following on yesterday from Leicester City's remarkable achievement of winning the Premier League at 5000-1.

What would you say is the greatest sporting upset of all time?

Here a few of mine:

Greece winning Euro 2004
Japan beating South Africa in the 2015 Rugby World Cup
Norton's Coin winning the 1990 Cheltenham Gold Cup at 100-1
Goran Ivanisevic winning Wimbledon in 2001.

Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson is THE classic sporting upset.

Also Sebastian Vettel winning in a Toro Rosso at Monza 2008 was very special.

Not forgetting in F1, Giancarlo Fisichella getting pole position in a Force India at the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix.

That has to be up there, especially in boxing terms.

Lennox Lewis losing to Hasim Rahman was a big shock as well. I was on holiday in Devon at the time and was shocked to hear on the news that he got knocked out in the fifth round. sad.gif Lennox won the rematch in style though biggrin.gif
