to the Radio 1 roadshow! 45 years ago yesterday (Monday 23rd July 1973) saw the very first one broadcast live from Newquay and presented by Alan "Fluff" Freeman
And great news for Roadshow fans! It was confirmed today that Tony "Smiley Miley" Miles who built the original Roadshow vehicle and was responsible for the station's merchandise has bought the most recent vehicle and is planning to bring it back out next year broadcasting under the United DJs online station. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/whats-on/musi...bristol-1803834 |
