Have you played this? What did you think of the song? It's not their greatest, but nice to see that name mentioned on Buzzjack.

I have played it! I really like it.

Great choices. Actually have I See You on vinyl and bought In Colour on iTunes a long time ago, but still need to get it on vinyl.

Settle is something I have to buy sometime.

Recent purchases from the last 7 days:

Spacemen 3 - Losing Touch With Your Mind (unofficial album pressed in Spain containing alternate versions and rarities. Found this in an Animal Sanctuary shop)
Buzzcocks - Spiral Scratch 7" EP [40th anniversary repress] (Classic 70's punk EP! dance.gif [Favourite Tracks: Boredom, Times Up])
Feeder - Suffocate [purple 7"] (bought this from an Age UK shop. Good song.)
Various Artists - Ambient Dub Volume 1: The Big Chill (went back to the same charity shop the next day to get the rest of the Spacemen 3 batch, only to find that it has already been sold. So I had to get this instead, considering my appreciation for ambient electronic music [especially Aphex Twin]. Just completed the first record and it sounds great.)
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax 7" (from an Animal Sanctuary shop, along with the next two 7-inches listed. It's in a picture sleeve and not just taken out of its original sleeve and put in some generic white sleeve)
George Michael - Careless Whisper 7" (the 3rd George Michael solo 7" in my collection, along with Too Funky and One More Try.)
Lee "Scratch" Perry - Kentucky Skank (2003 MOJO Mag Exclusive 7")
David Bowie - Sound And Vision [40th anniversary picture disc] heart.gif (bought from my local record store. The 3rd Bowie pic disc in my collection, along with Life On Mars and TVC15)

  • Blossoms - Getaway [clear splatter 10"]
  • Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising 7" (bought from an Animal Sanctuary shop)
  • Parquet Courts feat. Bun B - Captive Of The Sun [limited edition 12", to 250 copies]
  • EnglandNewOrder (New Order) - World In Motion 12" (bought from an Oxfam shop)
  • Black Box - Ride On Time 7" (bought from a Helen and Douglas shop, along with the next two 7-inches listed below)
  • Electronic - Getting Away With It 7"
  • Pet Shop Boys - Heart 7"
  • Peter Skellern - ...Not Without A Friend (bought from an Oxfam shop, served as a nice tribute to the late singer/songwriter)
  • Temples - Volcano [indies exclusive neon orange vinyl with 4 art prints] (bought from my local record store yesterday. Great album and the vinyl looks spectacular)

I think my only purchase since last posting here was Donna Summer's greatest hits *.*

Will any of you guys be taking advantage of Record Store Day on April 22nd? ohmy.gif Just had a look at everything available this year and I'm interested in the Deee-Lite, Little Mix, Manic Street Preachers and Ryo Kawasaki records if either of my local record stores who are participating will have them!

Recent purchases this month:

Split Enz - History Never Repeats [etched 7"] (found in an Animal Sanctuary shop. I have another etched vinyl from Split Enz which I bought from a record fair 1 and a half years ago [True Colours LP])
Wham! - Freedom 7" (Another George Michael vinyl added to my collection. Found in an Animal Sanctuary shop, bought on the same day as the Split Enz 7")
Pet Shop Boys - Liberation [jukebox 7"] (The second PSB 7" in my collection. Found in a Helen And Douglas shop)
ANOHNI - Paradise 10" EP (bought from my local record store.)
28 Days - Rip It Up 7" (found in an Age UK shop)
Chase & Status - More Than Alot [two 12-inches] (found in an Oxfam shop. Sadly, it's not the whole album, it's more of a 4-track sampler)
Fuzzgun - Wear Me In 7" (found in an Animal Sanctuary shop.)
Kinky Machine - Supernatural Giver 12" (the second Kinky Machine vinyl in my collection [first being Shockaholic]. Bought from my local record store [secondhand stock])

I was recently bought a record player as a present and I now have the following:
  • Brand New - Deja Entendu
  • Brand New - The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me
  • Brand New - Jesus 7"
  • Brand New - Mene 7"
  • Brand New - 3 Demos, Reworked 10"
  • Brand New - I Am A Nightmare
  • Julien Baker - Sprained Ankle
  • Julien Baker - Funeral Pyre/Distant Solar Systems 7"

No guesses as to who my favourite artist might be happy.gif

I just love the feel of them, and the artwork. It always feels like such an occasion, putting on a record.

Welcome to the vinyl world Emily!

Haven't purchased anything since last posting - although I'm getting married at the end of the year so I haven't a lot of cash to spare these days!!
