I won't spoiler it - but there is definitely NO WAY Barb is ever coming back. I'm positive she will be mentioned at some point, but her icon status really delves from the fact that Nancy never really ever mentioned her again after she disappeared! It's hilarious how much the creators & cast go along with the joke.

Eleven blatantly isn't dead. I don't think they'll officially announce Millie's coming back - they'll just have her turn up as a "surprise" a couple of episodes into the second season.

i'm actually surprised it's taken this long / so much fan demand for it tho with it being 80s centric in the first place it's gonna sound SO GOOD |

Finished this yesterday after picking it up on a whim/listening to Jay, I loved the 80s setting and the general atmosphere of it. And the child actors were brilliant, and this is incredible for me because I'm used to children annoying the shit out of me in TV but that they basically managed to carry the show was... very well done to them.
Mystery plot was a little weak at times in that I loved the 'scientific' explanation and the potential of the idea but it could do with more expansion, the monster didn't feel threatening most of the time. BUT, the characters really carried it for me so I'll probably watch a second season because I feel it can easily just continue to get better. |

They wouldn't be able to end the series until Xmas if they put the episodes one by one so i imagine it's all at once like always.
9 months though. I can literally go and HAVE MYSELF A BABY FROM SCRATCH while waiting for this to start. |

Netflix have been moving shows around a lot lately, House of Cards pushed back to May for example, so I was expecting a longer than usual wait for season 2. Halloween seems perfect and the teaser looks great, especially the very The Mist-esque giant creature.

Watched this over the past week and it was just as amazing as Jay was making out.
Can't decide between Michael, Dustin, Eleven, Nancy or Jonathan as my favourite, they're all so great. Although all the references everyone else picked up on probably went straight over my head. |

Also here and all watched up after Jay recommended it, and wow I'm so glad he did. What a special little show. Champions the outsiders and oddities of the world and gives them beautiful power & strength. Really stunning music, acting and script throughout - bring on season 2!
