It's one of those films you can tell is going to be shit from the trailer alone.

As to be expected, some scenes and characters work really well and others not so much. Tilda was a highlight (when is she not), loved Alden Ehrenreich and Ralph Fiennes too (the scene of them two together was a stand-out). Anything with George Clooney and Channing Tatum I didn't enjoy so much (and the musical numbers left me a bit....)
Good not great. |

A bit late to watching this but that's because I thought I wouldn't like it all but ended up really enjoying it. I loved all the stories within stories going on and how it was so reminiscent of older movies. My highlights in the cast being Josh Brolin (never really thought much of him but loved following a day in his life in this movie), Channing Tatum (absolutely hilarious, I loved his musical number and at the end when he was actually bouncing on the other sailor's bums ), Frances McDormand (her scene was so funny too ) and Alden Ehrenreich (so charming and very convincing in his role) but every cast member did a good job. I didn't laugh loads at the trailer but it ended up being way funnier than I was anticipating as well
