She is easily one of my favourite artists of the past few years. This album is coming to steal the year just like 'Samson & Delilah' did in '13 <3

Okay, so this is another absolute triumph of an album from V V. Her artistic progression from Travelling Like The Light is like one I've never seen. This record is so sonically aware and full of interesting melodies and hooks throughout, she really feels like an artist who knows exactly what she wants and how she wants to achieve it. If only this new found confidence would translate into sales.
I can't say I like it quite as much as Samson & Delilah, but it is an incredible follow up and I'm sure when it settles in, I'll love it even more than I do currently. |

This album is AMAZING. I mean it doesn't hold a candle to 'Samson & Delilah' (few albums can) but it's a very very good follow-up. 'Instincts' *.* Omg, this is her gone BAD and it's so f***ing worth it.

So the 'Lazarus', 'Fractured', 'Instincts' 1,2,3 punch is by far away one of my favourite album moments of the year. 10 minutes of pure musical joy
