#100: David Guetta feat. Emeli Sandι - What I Did For Love (down 16)
#99:Pulp - Common People (down 12) #98:Clean Bandit - Stronger (down 17) #97:Neon Jungle - Braveheart (down 11) #96:Take That - Rule The World (down 16) #95:Foxes - Holding Onto Heaven (down 3) #94:Indiana - Solo Dancing (down 4) #93:Rage Against The Machine - Wake Up (New Entry) #92:Foxes - Count The Saints (Re-Entry) #91:Ella Eyre - If I Go (Re-Entry) With 7 new entries and 3 four re-entries in the top 100, What I Did For Love, Common People, Stronger, Braveheart and Rule The World all take big tumbles, varying from 12 to 17 places drops. Meanwhile, Holding Onto Heaven and Solo Dancing hold up better, down 3 and 4 places respectively. The first of our 7 new entries comes courtesy of Rage Against The Machine's "Wake Up", which enters after I watched The Matrix, in which it is included at the end of the film. Here is the scene with the song. We have two of our three re-entries here as Count The Saints and If I Go return to the top 100 after not-so-brief absences. #90: Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water (up 6)
#89: Ella Henderson - Lay Down (down 6) #88: The Weeknd - Earned It (down 37) BIGGEST FALLER #87: Echosmith - Cool Kids (down 13) #86: Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back (down 11) #85: Queen - I Want To Break Free (down 3) #84: The Saturdays - Higher (down 18) #83: Gorgon City feat. Jennifer Hudson - Go All Night (down 7) #82: Take That - Get Ready For It (down 23) #81: Sigma - Nobody To Love (down 11) Starting off this section is 1970 classic Bridge Over Troubled Water, which goes up 6 places. The first of many Ella Henderson songs in the chart, Lay Down moves the exact same number of places at Simon & Garfunkel, only in the opposite direction. After climbing back up last week, Earned It crashes down 37 places to #88, the biggest fall this week. Cool Kids and Won't Look Back move down together but switch order, while I Want To Break Free makes the smallest fall in this section. Higher goes 18 places lower, while Go All Night goes down seven. I can only hope Get Ready For It's eight place fall last week got it ready for this 23 place slip, meanwhile Nobody To Love also falls a significant number of places, skipping the #80-71 section by going from #70 to #81. |

#80: CHVRCHES - Get Away (down 8)
#79: Kelly Clarkson - Heartbeat Song (down 19) #78: Ella Henderson - All Again (up 1) #77: Ella Henderson - Give Your Heart Away (down 1) #76: Florence + The Machine - Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) (down 19) #75: Take That - Babe (up 16) #74: Kate Nash - Foundations (down 18) #73: Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (down 2) #72: Labrinth - Jealous (down 5) #71: Ariana Grande - One Last Time (down 9) Favourite Non-Top 40 Hit due to Streaming fifth placed Get Away is down 8, while a song that I disliked originally takes a tumble to #79. We have double Ella Henderson with #78 and #77, but Rabbit Heart is running down the chart like a rabbit. Babe goes up 16 places, but Foundations is down 18. Bohemian Rhapsody is down 2, while Jealous is down 5 and One Last Time is down 9 to #71. Can it be in the top 75 one last time? |

We have two new entries, Man On A Wire, and the Rudimental version of Bloodstream at #58 and #56 respectively. If Patience was waiting to make a 10 place drop, it didn't need a lot of patience as it does exactly that. Style is down 5 places, while Wonderwall goes down 13 places and tows down Love Me Like You Do along. Glow, also by Ella Henderson, is down 8 places, while Ella Eyre's Comeback makes the smallest drop, down 3 places from #48 to #51. |

Meanwhile, we have 6 top 40 exits in a row, starting with Take Me To Church sliding 10 places to #49. We have two consecutive UK number ones with The Drugs Don't Work and I Wanna Feel, going down 11 and 13 places respectively. We have another Ella Henderson track, going down 8 places, while Don't Look Back In Anger is the biggest faller out of these ten, going down 18 places. Desire may have wanted to be in top 40 gain, but that desire would not be fulfilled. Meanwhile, Higher is moving 6 places higher, while Saturday Night Takeaway performers S Club 7 go down 7 places with their 2000 number 2 hit Reach. Finally, Elastic Heart shoots up 17 places but doesn't quite make the top 40. This post has been edited by Taylor Jago: 5th April 2015, 09:44 AM |

#10: Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy (up 16)
Kicking off the top 10 is Bronski Beat with their 1984 number 3 hit Smalltown Boy. #9: Kygo feat. Conrad - Firestone (up 34) After entering at #43 last week, Firestone fires up all the way to number 9. #8: Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is (down 1) I Want To Know What Love Is goes down one place. #7: Marlon Roudette - When The Beat Drops Out (up 2) When The Beat Drops Out isn't likely to drop out anytime soon; it reaches a new peak of #7, equalling its UK chart position. #6: Blonde feat. Melissa Steel - I Loved You (non-mover) Blonde and Melissa Steel are non-movers at #6. #5: Ella Henderson - Mirror Man (non-mover) A song that peaked way too low in the UK chart, Mirror Man remains in the top 5 here. #4: Philip George - Wish You Were Mine (non-mover) This has been a number one and has been in the top 10 since the second week of the year: what more could it wish for? #3: Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand (non-mover) After soaring 36-8 two weeks ago and climbing 8-3 last week, Hold My Hand is on hold at the bronze medal position. #2: Years & Years - King (non-mover) This song has been king of the chart before: this is its seventh consecutive week at the number 2 position. #1: Florence + The Machine - What Kind Of Man (non-mover) #1 on the year-end chart right now (and subsequently for the January-March period), Florence and the Machine spend their sixth week at number one. |
