 I have always enjoyed her music, but exactly one year ago this week, I lost my aunt to cancer. 'My Love is Your Love' was her parting song, and since that moment I have devoted so much time to familiarising myself with so many of her singles. I am so excited to share this love with you all. The reason we limited it like this was because people are more likely to participate if the amount of songs isn't too onerous. We could easily add these, but then it becomes a "where do we draw the line" type affair. Hope that's ok! I Didn't Know My Own Strength is easily within my Whitney top 3. Such a poignant song to describe her journey. It's not a WOW VOCALS moment like her earlier songs but it feels so much more important to me.

This is going to look so stanny, but she's one of those artists where it's nigh on impossible to pick a fave or a top 5, because so many of the songs are incredible! Undoubtedly the greatest voice of her generation and possibly EVER, I just can't think of anyone who has or will be able to come even close to her vocally.
