Notts win the T20 Blast. That was the first cricket played in England in October. The ground staff at Edgbaston did a great job drying out the playing area.

Gutted Glos didn’t go all the way but I’m pleased we finally broke our T20 QF hoodoo and made it to Finals Day at least. Notts were well deserved winners in all honesty!

Australia women have equalled the world record 21-game winning run in one-day internationals after beating New Zealand by 232 runs in Brisbane.
Looking to match the record set by Ricky Ponting's Australia side in 2003, the hosts totalled 325-5 after stand-in captain Rachel Haynes hit 96. The visitors were all out for 93 in their biggest ODI defeat by Australia, who won the series 3-0. Australia can set a new record when they face India on 22 January, 2021. |

England's white-ball tour of South Africa next month will go ahead after it was given the green light by the South African government.
England will play three Twenty20s and three one-day internationals from 27 November, all behind closed doors. The team will travel to South Africa on 16 November, with games played at Cape Town's Newlands and in nearby Paarl. It will be South Africa's first cricket since the sport's coronavirus shutdown and England's first matches overseas. |

Former Sri Lanka seamer and bowling coach Nuwan Zoysa has been found guilty of match-fixing offences.
Zoysa, 42, was charged by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2018 and has been found guilty of three breaches of the anti-corruption code. They include being party to an effort to fix an international match. Zoysa, who played 30 Tests and 95 one-day internationals, remains suspended and sanctions will follow in due course, the ICC said. |

South Africa have cancelled Saturday's planned intra-squad practice match after a second member of their squad tested positive for Covid-19.
They are due to begin their limited-overs series against England in Cape Town on Friday 27 November. The unnamed player has been moved to separate accommodation and is isolating away from the team. |

England will tour India early next year and play their first day-night Test in the country at the biggest cricket ground in the world.
The sides will play four Tests starting on 5 February, with the third under lights at Ahmedabad's 110,000-capacity Sardar Patel Stadium. Chennai will host the first two Tests and Ahmedabad the final two. They will be followed by five Twenty20s in Ahmedabad and three one-day internationals in Pune. |
