We've handpicked four of the biggest names in music, hailing from Canada like Shawn, to feature in a number of battle rounds to determine who the best of the lot is! Similar to Battle of the Boybands in the One Direction forum, there will be a series of polls where Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Avril Lavigne and Drake will battle for your affections. Only one artist can win each round, and an overall winner will be crowned at the end of the event based on how many polls they've won! For Round Five, we're taking a look at where each of our five artists started out - going all the way back to their debut albums and what made so many people fall in love with them, or all over again if it wasn't the first album that fans listened to when they jumped on board starship stan! Simply vote for your favourite album of the five in the poll above! No YouTube embeds this time, so you'll need to rely on your memory for this one (unless Joseph wants to add Spotify embeds for each of the albums at some point x).

nabad Pronouns: he/him Joined: 13 February 2013 Posts: 28,386 User: 18,316	Round Five results: 01 Let Go (Avril Lavigne) \| 14 votes; 87.50% 02= Handwritten (Shawn Mendes) \| 1 vote; 6.25% 02= My World (Justin Bieber) \| 1 vote; 6.25% 04= Tug of War (Carly Rae Jepsen) \| 0 votes; 0.00% 04= Thank Me Later (Drake) \| 0 votes; 0.00% In the biggest runaway result so far, Avril Lavigne's debut album Let Go scoops up a whopping 14 votes and leaves all of the other artists lying in a ditch somewhere. Avril's been pretty successful in Battle of the Canadians so far as this isn't her first win either! Shawn and Justin are in joint second place with two votes between them for their debut albums Handwritten and My World, respectively. Carly and Drake trail behind in joint fourth place with no votes this time - their debut albums Tug of War and Thank Me Later clearly didn't leave much of an impression on the 16 of you that voted. Round Six coming soon!!
