Well Radio 1 c-listed it yesterday so things are on track! There'll also be a performance at the Billboard Music Awards this month. *.*

I think it could be a top 5 hit! I've got this feeling that it'll be a long runner with a #4 peak. It's weird how much of a grower it is, I used to hate it a couple of weeks ago but I just love it with every listen now

I see Big Hoops having a run more like Climax but a longrunning hit is possible too I guess!
Like that artwork very much. And the deluxe is better than the standard which is ALWAYS appreciated. This post has been edited by Umi: May 3 2012, 05:43 PM |

I really just can't predict this, it could literally be a massive hit but just as easily flop, I'm actually really looking forward to seeing how it does because it's not immediately obvious, mostly with big stars like this it's 'oh, obvious number 1 for 2+ weeks' but as usual Nelly isn't following!

One of the fastest growing songs I've ever witnessed - I hated it the first time I heard it, but now after having heard it 4 times it's a contender for #1 on my next personal chart

Did anyone read her popjustice interview?it didnt reveal much except there is a track called ''The Spirit Indestructible'' it was more about the making of the album and Rihanna.

'Something' sounds good, especially Nas' part. I hope it's also on the album and not just a b-side to 'Big Hoops'.
'Big Hoops' is #1 in the Dutch tip chart so it'll definitely enter the official top40 next week. It also entered the Dutch top100 at #81. This post has been edited by Atonement: May 5 2012, 12:06 PM |

Video is wonderful even in LQ. I love what an idiosyncratic pop star this woman is. Trends, conforming, in the moment. All phrases that appear not to enter this woman's vocabulary.
Let us hope she has a hit in the bag. |

I'd say Nas is a pretty big name! I think his album Illmatic is pretty well known.
Would've liked to see more colabs with rappers but oh well. A song named Bucket List? Hah! Please no ballads on this one Nelly, don't need that from you. They kind of ruined Loose. I know Try was beautiful and possibly my favorite Nelly song but ballads just don't go on an album that has upbeats like Big Hoops. |

Nas is a VERY big name! He might not be quite as relevant as he once was but he's still one of the biggest names in rap.
The Kenyan Boys Choir? Odd. |

Is that that choir that ruined Afraid? I still need to hunt them down and smack them. I can only imagine how she was thinking : 'wow I have a great song with a MASSIVE guitar line, let's ruin it with a bunch of pre-teen boys singing the chorus'.
(They sounded like pre-teen boys to me) |

True, most of them didn't fit in with the Timbaland tracks, but I wouldn't say they were completely out of place. Say It Right and All Good Things were big hits across the globe, so they were good choices I'd say. I think she stayed true to her musical roots by a track like All Good Things and even In God's Hands. A few of the ballads were the highlights from Loose for me. |

In God's Hands was horrendous. I'll give you All Good Things and Say It Right (if that counts) though.
I wouldn't really call Nas a big name now. He's hardly relevant like, at all. |

I wouldn't really call Say It Right a ballad (at least it really fits in) and All Good Things is good as a closer, I just think that In God's Hands, Show Time and Te Busqué (as great as that one is) kind of ruin the album's momentum. It just doesn't really go with the club tracks, and I really like cohesive albums. |
