Chart Analysis

Avicii spends his ninth non-consecutive week at #1 with 'Lonely Together', which remains at #1 following its return last week. It is also the song's 16th consecutive week in the top three. As such, it is Rita Ora's 11th consecutive week at #1 as an artist, and also the 5th consecutive week where she holds both positions in the top 2 as her 'Anywhere' remains at #2. The rest of the top six remain steady also, with positions #3-6 being taken from non-movers by MK, Post Malone, Sonny Fodera and John Gibbons. DC Breaks climbs 9-7 off last week's debut with 'Eleven', Patrick Topping falls 7-8 with 'Be Sharp Say Nowt', and Avicii rebounds 10-9 with 'Without You'. Finally, entering the top 10 this week is Big Shaq with 'Man's Not Hot', the ting goes skrrrrrrrrUP 16-10 on its 10th week in the chart.

Entering at #12 is the return of Chicane with this week's highest new entry 'Gorecki'. He has not had a particularly great chart history though that is because most of his best songs pre-date Thermo's hot hits. 'Gorecki' becomes his highest peaking single already, beating his only previous top 40 hit 'Still With Me' which charted at #31 in 2014.

Continuing to peak within the top 40; Selena Gomez and Marshmello jump 17-14 with 'Wolves', Elektronomia and JJD leap 22-16 with 'Free', Anne-Marie and John Gibbons bounce 27-24 with 'Heavy', Jain soars 35-29 with 'Makeba' and Travis Scott flies 39-31 with 'Butterfly Effect'.

Raye increases 49-32 with 'Decline'. It becomes Raye's third chart hit, and her first as a leading artist. It follows features on #9 'By Your Side' with Jonas Blue, and #2 hit 'You Don't Know Me' with Jax Jones. Also, MGMT gain 42-38 with 'Little Dark Age', becoming their belated first ever hit on this chart, though they would definitely have featured here a few times before if the chart dated back to 2008-9, when they had hit singles with 'Electric Feel', 'Time To Pretend' and 'Kids'. Finally, Sofi Tukker and co. rebound 43-37 with 'Best Friend'.

Outside the top 40 we see new entries from Beatsole, Jus Now & Dismantle feat. Busy Signal, Mr. Belt & Wezol & Aevion, Orjan Nilsen feat. R-Lend, Not3s, Post Malone, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Fuse ODG feat. Ed Sheeran & Mugeez, and Natti Natasha feat. Ozuna.

thanks Sergej! My top 3 seems to be very stable at the moment as they're all stand-out songs, but all could change next week as Jax Jones is likely to make a good first week impression.

I'd put it above that actually! Was never a huge SIL fan.
Seems that only the Gallagher name can put this kind of song in the chart, good to have some variety though I guess.
