Really? I haven't seen the highlights but heard he was pivotal in the first 2 goals. Yeah that whole Cruyff turn thing was apparently ridiculous (but then even a certain Alisson has been guilty of such this season )
I can honestly say I think he's our best, or at least most promising, keeper since Seaman - not that there's been much good between in fairness. Had an outstanding World Cup let's not forget. (Waits for that comment to come back to bite me...) |

Iceland and Poland both featured in the same question in my Only Connect quiz. Now they have both been relegated to the second tier in the Nations League.

That must be Gibraltar's first win in all the European and World Cup competitions since entering.

Gibraltar winning 2 games in a week and Germany losing 2 in a week makes me so happy.

I'm going to the Croatia game and I'm pretty happy with the squad. It's a shame Maguire & Maddison are injured though.

What we make of Rooney returning for that final cap against USA?

What we make of Rooney returning for that final cap against USA? It seems to be a typically cack-handed FA move. The match is supposedly in support of Rooney's charity, but the FA will not be making a donation from the gat receipts. That makes the decision to include Rooney in the squad appear very silly. |

Very interesting now though that Croatia beat Spain, so we can somehow salvage winning the group if we beat Croatia at Wembley on Sunday!
Good send off for Roo and Trent/Wilson getting their first England goals, a fine night. |

Germany relegated.
What a terrible year they've had. Surely it's time for Low to go. |
