#3 The Fame 25k #1 Born This Way 216k #1 Artpop 65k #10 Cheek to Cheek 10k #3 Joanne 27k #1 A Star Is Born 31k So maybe it will be higher that her last 3 albums opening weeks COMBINED. Yeah ASIB made her HUGE again as she deserves. LOVE HER! |

how did BTW do 216k first week? was it a similar situation to 99c albums on amazon as it was in the US?

I don’t think so. Artists tend to have their biggest opening weeks with the album that follows their most successful era.

I'd love gaga to clear 50k she should easily beat the 1975 opening sales so I'm hoping close to 40k at the least.

Insane sales for Lady Gaga!
I’m going for 55k-60k sales in total; so she should clear Taylor Swift’s 53k. On the more optimistic side, I’d say it could clear 65k-75k. |

So even if Gaga sells 3k each day from now on (she is obviously going to sell WAY more than that) than she would have cleared 50k in total which is very impressive.
