I'd never heard of them before but this synthy piece of glory was wonderful and does really make me want to check out more given how influential Japan were in the early synth music scene. Her votes put Monolithic back on top but C.Q.C are still in this. Now we leave Japan, we await to see if this Asian domination will remain. It was quite spooky as I confirmed Yellow Magic Orchestra and then saw on Reddit just a couple of hours later that member Yukihiro Takahashi had died D: so an unintentional tribute, RIP. Soooo I may have been playing dumb a bit on SyncTube when one of their other songs was played earlier
 their style really sounds proto-Kraftwerk which is huge praise, need to check out more  Thank you for the points so far Dan, Wardy and Iz! Particularly the former for a medal

I did already edit my post to acknowledge that Monolithic was born in Japan Wardy! Just seems he primarily identifies as American is all xx
I did really like your entry anyway whether or not it fits the theme properly Also a nice one from Lewis + excellent entry from Jade <3 though that really is quite a spooky coincidence re the timing of Yukihiro's death (RIP). Also further educated in YMO with another song played on SyncTube just now of course!

Singapore being further north than the East African countries is blowing my mind a bit x The results at the moment are quite mixed compared to my taste but a good winner at the moment at least! |
