I doubt that Courtney is that much of a name in Aus that she would automatically win the selection with what seems like a pretty subpar song, obviously here she has the CBB win and she is generally popular in terms of Drag Race stars, but I doubt that Australia as a whole would vote her in such numbers. Like maybe in terms of Drag Race over there it's kinda cool they have an Aussie rep who's done so well, ik she tours there and stuff, but I just can't see that she'd win with a song like this one. I feel like if somehow she DID make it through to ESC, he could do very well but I just don’t think she’ll be selected! You guys are probably right, I guess I'm looking at it too much from a UK perspective and being part of a community where Drag Race is very much a big thing, I just had the feeling that the demographic that would vote in a Eurovision selection could be similar to that which watches RuPaul (but yeah, that likely doesn't apply as much to Australia as it would to You Decide) To be fair, I actually find the song fun and enjoy it in full for what it is and it'll probably be the same with what I imagine will be a car crash of a live performance (judging by the vocals on the studio version ), I just don't think it's what Australia need to be sending after the poor televote results of the past two contests. |

Two more of the entries are online in full (with Mark Vincent coming tomorrow I've heard)
They're OK but ngl, I'm getting more enjoyment from Courtney's song |

FInal acts are Ella Hooper of Killing Heidi, Alfie Arcuri from The Voice and Tania Docko from Bachelor Girl
I thought they were saving some huge for last, clearly not I suppose Killing Heidi are really well remembered for Weir. I mean ofc I wasn't expecting Kylie or Sia or anything but I thought we might get Delta Goodrem or Tina Arena or someone like that. Has to be Sheppard or Kate for me out of the artists, knowing that Courtney's song is a bit underwhelming. |

I really like Alfie Arcuri, hopefully he has a decent track. He puts out a lot of low-mid tempos so would be nice to hear him on a banger

There's a lot going on, but I'm really taking to this!! Definitely my favourite so far, but Sheppard also sounds promising from the short clip that's floating around. |

Wonderfully bizarre, but you wouldn't expect anything less from Kate Love that! I think that might be my fave from the whole NF season so far if not Muerdeme.
I agree though, I feel like Sheppard's song is going to be incredible and if it is I imagine they easily have this. I can see Kate being a big fan fave with fans though. |

Love Kate’s song! Imagine having something this left field in the UK selection We’ll see what Sheppard turn up with though, I have high hopes for my favourite artist of this decade *.*
