Would expect decent streaming numbers for Clavish's album as his singles chart pretty consistently (albeit not that highly aside from 'Rocket Science'). Probably not a #1 contender though and not sure any of the above will be either, although 10k will probably be enough so who knows.

edit: although forgot Courteeners were releasing too, they probably have a good shot even if it is just a re-release, they did get a remix version of the album to the top 5 a few years ago lol

Posted by: Bjork 13th January 2023, 07:43 AM

Courteneers for #1!! It's a classic album and with zero competition and lots of variants, I totally see it at #1

Posted by: steve201 13th January 2023, 01:22 PM

Hope Belle and Sebastian and Circa Waves do well!

Posted by: Bjork 13th January 2023, 03:33 PM

after checking the Courteneers store there are not that many variants or bundles, was expecting more of a push

Joesef is a Scottish musician who released his debut album last week, and is #1 there now thanks to pushing for sales. He has 2.4m monthly listeners on Spotify so isn’t a complete randomer. laugh.gif

The have ignored the UK except when they were asking their fans to buy the CD online but I expect streaming will be a lot better. The CD and Vinyl are low on Amazon but their own store could be higher as these aren't signed.

Yes when it suits their label. The UK was one of the few countries in Europe that The Loneliest didn't make the top 100 and now they want physical album sales from 1 of the biggest markets. I am not surprised.

Yes, 'The Loneliest' didn't get much of a playlisting push over here. But it's so much easier to get big physical album sales from an artist with a large fanbase than to get a single charting, so their method shouldn't be too surprising.

That's what I meant. They might climb to #1 but I doubt a lot of their younger fanbase would buy it on iTunes and the UK mainstream will know them less than other artists so streaming will be a better indicator. SZA wasn't that high on iTunes and we know how that turned out in the end.

I agree, although physical sales will likely be far stronger than streaming.

Måneskin are not SZA, they rely 100% on physicals
but they will do well, there are cazillions of variants and bundles
should be an easy #1 mostly cos of the lack of competition

Posted by: Brer 20th January 2023, 03:47 PM

I'd love to see them going to #1 but I'm not sure I'd be that confident! We've not yet had a test of how well they will do with a co-ordinated physical release, the previous album was a slow burner and mostly based on streaming. (Also fair to say the hype around them has subsided a bit now). Of course the bar for #1 probably won't be that high so fingers crossed they do still have the fanbase for it. Should definitely at the very least be top 10 anyway you'd think which would still be a big improvement after 'Teatro D'Ira Vol. I' never quite made the top 40.

After a few very quiet weeks I see several albums out this week that I want to check out - Måneskin, Ladytron, Låpsley (big week for artists with 'å' in their name laugh.gif) and Biig Piig although that is more like an EP, only 7 songs and 3 were singles (it is officially a mixtape).

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 20th January 2023, 04:03 PM

I reckon they’ll quite easily be #1 tbh! I think they’ll sell at least 20k, which may be optimistic but they are playing the O2 Arena this year.

Posted by: Brer 20th January 2023, 05:09 PM

I hope you're right but I'll believe it when I see it, people have been constantly overpredicting their singles beyond the ones that won the TikTok lottery so I am just permanently pessimistic x

Posted by: seven. 20th January 2023, 05:54 PM

I'd be curious to see how big a fanbase Maneskin have over here, I feel like The Reytons have a good chance of reaching #1 tho - their last album opened with 8k and they have a bunch of coloured vinyls, cassette bundles etc

The Reytons getting to #1 would be quite a feat given they're apparently not notable enough to even have a Wikipedia page yet. But yeah, definitely looks possible. Every now and then we do have one of these random nondescript indie bands called 'The [something]' who have developed a big enough fanbase out of thin air to get a #1 album, maybe they're the next The Snuts or The Lathums.

(I don't think I have heard any of their music to be fair x)

At least The Lathums and The Snuts are fresh and pretty decent though. The Reytons are so cringy, it's a bunch of late-30s guys trying to impersonate 2006 Alex Turner. They've been mocked a lot on TikTok lately, but have built up quite a decent fanbase from the "I hate Tranquility Base/The Car" crowd - and are even playing Sheffield Arena this year! And it is quite impressive how they're still a self-releasing band, whereas The Snuts & The Lathums are both signed to major labels.

For some reason The Reytons' lead singer has a Wikipedia page as he had a minor rap career in the early 2010's, although it clearly hasn't been updated in a while! laugh.gif https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Mya

1+4. Sam Smith
2. Ava Max
5. Bob Dylan (1996-97 sessions)

11. SG Lewis
17. Steve Vai
19. RHODES
24. Uriah Heap

Sam Smith opened with nearly 24k last time (which feels really low looking back). I feel like the album should still pass 20k this time around.

I thought it might also be a good idea to start posting about the Apple Music album charts here too!

The current top 10:

1. Taylor Swift - Midnights (3am Edition)
2. SZA - S.O.S.
newne.png 3. Sam Smith - Gloria (Apple Music Edition)
newne.png 4. Lil Yachty - Let’s Start Here.

Other new entries:

20. Popcaan - Great Is He
51. SG Lewis - AudioLust & HigherLove
63. Fred again.. - Actual Life 3 Piano (January 1 - September 9 2022) - EP
86. Ard Adz - Underdog

Posted by: Brer 28th January 2023, 12:35 AM

Think SG Lewis is the only mainstream-ish album I care about from this week's new releases. I forgot his last album charted as high as #46, I hope this one can make the top 40 but not going to hold my breath.

Sam should definitely be #1 one would think, even if their sales continue to decline from the last era.

Posted by: Bjork 28th January 2023, 06:43 AM

curious to see how Sam does, their last album did 24K and that was a huge decline for them
but the album didn't have any big lead single, I mean, Diamonds did just ok
if only they had released after dancing with a Stranger/How Do I Sleep instead of panicking and reverting to old school Sam Smith
this time they have a huge hit in Unholy so that should bring people that buy the album
not sure if there are many variants or if their fanbase is the multi variant kind...

Gwan Young Fathers. Will also check out RAYE and The Go! Team (their singles have been consistent quirky bangers this era).

I would love to see RAYE at #1 and I guess for what it's worth this is a good start but as with Måneskin the other week I'm really not convinced she'll be that strong of a physical seller, or even that strong of a streamer beyond the one song. My money is on Shania.

Hope this post is not too much of an essay tongue.gif

Posted by: seven. 3rd February 2023, 12:51 PM

It'd be great result if RAYE got anywhere close to #1 regardless, would be cool if she could defy the odds again and outsell Shania (a much more established artist with presumably a bigger fanbase)

The Go! Team smashing it *.*

Hoping this should be a fairly easy #1 for Paramore - their last album only got to #4 but it did 23k first week and I don't feel like there's any reason they'd do much less than that this time (if anything I'd be tempted to predict they'll go higher).

You Me At Six's last album did get to #1, but on lower sales of 14.3k.

Oh Pink will easily do it, it’s a shame Inhaler released this week - although I don’t think they’d have had much more luck in any of the upcoming weeks.

Posted by: Bjork 17th February 2023, 08:21 AM

just checked and Inhaler's debut did 17K so with a bit of a push they could have beaten Shania, Sam or Courteneers

Posted by: steve201 17th February 2023, 08:22 AM

The fanfare round Inhaler hasn’t been great for this release, can see the bundles pushing them to 15-20k but not the strength of the new songs. Pink should easily do and can break 25k imo!

The fanfare round Inhaler hasn’t been great for this release, can see the bundles pushing them to 15-20k but not the strength of the new songs. Pink should easily do and can break 25k imo!

Eh, the fan reception has been quite good from what I’ve seen! They’re not massive anyway, so it’s hard to judge the “fanfare” from outside their core base.

They all seem to be performing decently on streaming too, with the new tracks all on top of their most ‘popular’ list still - that doesn’t happen for so long (8 months in the case of ‘These Are The Days’) if they’re not clicking.

I could see this Pink album doing 50k, with Inhalers a distant second

Gwan Orbital *.* their last album got #12 in 2018, fingers crossed this can be their first top 10 since 1999? (Although not sure if this iTunes position will necessarily be reflective of anything as per ofc). Hopefully a solid position for Skrillex coming too.

By fanfare I didn’t mean the fans just the general musings by the music press and my own opinion. However, the fans would love it surely laugh.gif !

I just thought myself none of the new tracks have really stood out much for me(apart from the lush ‘Love Will Get You There’) will give it a spin though!

Fair enough! Although the new one does actually have a slightly higher Metacritic score than the first, albeit with a slightly smaller amount of views.

Yeah I noticed 'Reggae & Calypso' was absent from it, that is strange considering it includes quite a few of his other less successful singles from around the same time (both before and after!)

The Lathums - From Nothing To A Little Bit More Now £5.99 On cd

Posted by: Brer 3rd March 2023, 12:22 PM

Interested to see how much of a splash De La Soul can make, their arrival on streaming has been teased for quite a while now (even having a couple of singles dropped ahead of today as if it was an actual new release).

Hoping slowthai can go top 3 again (kind of expecting The Lathums and Mimi Webb to be the top 2) but not the greatest early sign there - though I forget if 'TYRON' made that big of an impression on iTunes either.

Posted by: LewisGT 3rd March 2023, 12:55 PM

'3 Feet High And Rising' has also been re-released on vinyl, CD and cassette today so I think it's going to do well.

Posted by: Brer 3rd March 2023, 01:22 PM

I saw that it had a physical re-release too but wasn't sure if that was also for this week!

Its current peak is only #13 so would be nice if it can beat that (and their career peak is #7 for 'De La Soul Is Dead').

I just had a look back and 'TYRON' was at #6 on iTunes at 10:12 back on its release day, with 4 new entries above it (The Pretty Reckless, Pale Waves, Sia & Rita/Imanbek).

Some predictions for the upcoming #1 albums:

10th March: Miley Cyrus - Endless Summer Vacation
17th March: U2 - Songs Of Surrender
24th March: Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust - it'll be close between them and Lana Del Rey, but I think FOB will just edge it.
31st March: DMA’S - How Many Dreams? - it's looking like a fairly quiet week currently! I wouldn't entirely rule out Boygenius either, there seems to be a lot of hype for them at the moment.
7th April: Ellie Goulding - Higher Than Heaven
14th April: Metallica - 72 Seasons

Posted by: Brer 7th March 2023, 01:45 PM

Depeche Mode album also out the same week as Lana and FOB. I would predict Lana to take it considering how well her last couple of singles have done (I know her last album underperformed but that always felt like a pretty damp squib of an era, probably because of being so soon after her last album I guess? and just not being very good, the hype feels back much more this time). I see FOB's last 3 albums have all peaked at #2, oof if they add a 4th in a row to that!

Posted by: Bjork 7th March 2023, 03:43 PM

Lana for #1 for sure there are 4 different covers all available on 3 formats sp guess a bunch of crazy fans will buy the 12 of them biggrin.gif

You never know! They’re headlining their own show at Gunnersbury Park this summer, which has a capacity of 20k.

Posted by: Bjork 7th March 2023, 04:14 PM

I love Boygenius, it's my #1 band in the world but really cannot see how they could even do 5K
people know Phoebe Bridgers but Julien and Lucy Dacus no one knows them
that said they have big label support this time so lots and lots of formats already

they are playing a big park this summer, but the park has different fields
can even hold a festival for 30K people but I'm sure they will play in one of the small fields for like 5K
it's not like it sold out all the tix in 3 minutes

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 7th March 2023, 04:22 PM

That's true. I'm trying to find their Gunnersbry capacity, and all I can find is the NME saying that it'll be "a crowd capacity bigger than London’s O2" - which is 20k.

3. slowthai - UGLY

6. The Lathums - From Nothing To A Little Bit More

Quite surprisingly, Sigala is up to 8 now!

It's also quite remarkable how they've released a new album every 2 years consistently since they first blew up in 2015.

Posted by: Bjork 17th March 2023, 12:17 PM

well those last 2 albums are a bit tricky to judge... cos we got the one that was given awy for free to everybody
even if you didn't want it, you got it too biggrin.gif so not sure if that counts as a miss
then the last one was a sorta companion to the previous one... and even with a #5 debut it sold 40K in week 1...
so sure they will be #1 this time with zero competition

Ooh, I see that Enter Shikari have a decent chance of finally getting a #1 album this time around! Their release date of April 24th is currently looking quite empty.

Hopefully Everything But The Girl will beat them

That’s a good point - although it’ll be hard to judge what their sales will be like.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 24th March 2023, 10:46 AM

I did think she’d be a couple of spots higher, yeah. Although I suppose the ones above do also have strong fanbases, and Lana will do the best on streaming out of them.

Posted by: Brer 24th March 2023, 02:05 PM

Rooting for Lana to hit #1 but Depeche Mode would be great too. Wouldn't mind Fall Out Boy either since they've never had a #1 before. Basically anyone but Luke Combs please kink.gif (coming for a top 4 of decent selling new entries? Since Luke's previous albums have been strong catalogue sellers, he's had a couple of singles chart recently and his last album made the top 10 already).

And do I dare to dream of JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown making the top 100 ~

169. August Burns Red - Death Below

181. Matt Corby - Everything's Fine

Quite intrigued by the Black Country, New Road live album - it is all new material written since Isaac Wood (the lead vocalist on their first two albums) left the band, I wonder if this release means these songs aren't actually planned for their next album? The Bush Hall performance got quite a bit of buzz but I was planning to wait until studio versions came out to hear the songs, I think I will give this live album a listen now it's been released though.

Its a pity Meteora 20 is only available on super expensive vinyl formats, I see a vinylx4 and a vinylx5, and both have crazy prices
if they had releasing a single vinyl x multi-colour variants they could have had a chance at #1

Posted by: Brer 7th April 2023, 01:03 PM

Hope Daughter can get a first top 10 album. I was thinking Linkin Park have a decent chance of #1 but maybe not given the above post - could still see it being fairly close though, Ellie's last album didn't do huge numbers first week.

Didn't realise Tim Hecker's album was out this week too! He had one low top 100 album before but won't hold my breath for this to repeat that.

They definitely are in the era of big album bundles, especially as Lewis’ audience certainly isn’t exclusively young. Out of his debut album’s opening 90k sales, almost 60k of them weren’t from streaming!

Posted by: Bjork 11th April 2023, 06:10 AM

pre-orders are everything, Lewis is not an streaming artist, what matters is the multiformats and the bundles and how many preorders you can get

Interested to see how Metallica performs sales-wise. Their last album opened with 57,769 in 2016 and the one before that was in 2008 with 75,164. I would assume a band like Metallica would retain a lot of their audience, especially with albums released so far apart, so 40k+ should be achievable.

24 NEW Harry Belafonte - Greatest Hits
195 NEW Harry Belafonte - The Best of Harry Belafonte
198 NEW Harry Belafonte - The Essential Harry Belafonte

Singer, actor and staunch civil rights activist Harry Belafonte has died aged 96, it's been announced. The beloved American star was the recipient of a Grammy, Emmy and Tony award, as well as the coveted Official Christmas Number 1 in his lifetime.

Belafonte died of heart failure at his New York home on Tuesday with his wife at his side, his spokesperson said.

In the UK, he is best remembered for his track Mary's Boy Child, which became the Official Christmas Number 1 of 1957. Spending a total of seven weeks at Number 1, Mary's Boy Child also holds the distinction of being one of the best-selling singles in Official Charts history.

Belafonte also achieved two further Top 10 hits on the Official Singles Chart; The Banana Boat Song (2) and Island In The Sun (3) both released in 1957 too. Just last year, Belafonte became the oldest living person ever inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

was wondering if the many big features will benefit the National album, I mean, Taylor, Sufjan, Phoebe
I haven't bothered with the last couple National album but pre-ordered this on day 1 just cos of the features
and even friends who buy 1 album a year did order it cos of the features too

on the other hand, purist fans of The National might pass cos of the features biggrin.gif some are very anti-Taylor judging by social media comments

Hopefully Def Leppard can get another top 5 album this time around.

Possibly. Although it’s worth noting that it’s an album of orchestral versions of their hits, so expect lower sales than a usual album from them.

Posted by: Rob 20th May 2023, 05:40 PM

There’s a serious lack of hype around the Kesha album but thought it would at least be Top 200 on Apple.

Should be a pretty high selling top 2 this week!

Assuming Noel is more likely to be the #1 here - Foo Fighters' run of studio album peaks since their first #1 has gone 1-2-1-1-2-1-1, so they seem cursed to never get 3 #1 albums in a row if they miss out this week.

Hoping Squid can chart decently again after their debut made the top 5 - not made a big initial impact on iTunes though, only #50 (weirdly the album is priced at £6.32 which is just the price of all the individual songs added together (8 tracks, 79p each)).

What did the last Christine and the Queens album do?

Missed the top 40 :/

A McFly vs Horan battle would be interesting

Posted by: steve201 10th June 2023, 10:12 AM

Pity kinda thought this one would challenge as it’s been well received!

Posted by: Bjork 10th June 2023, 11:29 AM

The last one was so weird it kinda lost me as a fan
Havent even checked the new one and didnt even know it was out

Posted by: steve201 10th June 2023, 02:32 PM

It’s got rave reviews!

Posted by: Herbs 10th June 2023, 02:40 PM

Bit gutted that Keaton Henson hasn’t appeared at all

Posted by: Bjork 10th June 2023, 08:52 PM

^Oh didn't know any more people in here liked him, he's the most talented singer-songwriter in the UK
but sadly few people care

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 13th June 2023, 07:39 PM

Despite being quite far behind Niall in the main chart, McFly have brought in the £4.99 discount and are now at #1 here.

#21 Dannii Minogue - Neon Nights 20

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 16th June 2023, 01:05 PM

I'm hoping for a QOTSA #1, but I'd probably put my money on Tom getting it.

Sigur Rós' physicals don't come out until September it seems so guessing they probably won't chart this week but hopefully will do in 3 months' time magic.gif great to finally have new music from them as a group anyway (although Jónsi has stayed prolific with other projects in the last few years), exactly a decade (give or take 1 day) since their last album!

Hopefully Ben Howard can get top 5 again although definitely expecting a top 2 of Tom Grennan and QOTSA.

Maisie for #1 this week hopefully. I thought her debut was going to do it but it got beat by a midweek Kanye release. I'm pretty sure this album will comfortably open with higher sales so it certainly looks possible.

Kelly Clarkson feels quite hard to predict as it feels like she hasn’t released an album in a while so no obvious indicator for how this will do.

I guess Maisie is the most likely of the new releases to hit #1 but I wouldn't be shocked if it's just Harry Styles returning to #1 - Maisie will probably need to beat the opening sales of her last album to beat him (although yes it would have been #1 without the surprise Kanye drop, it would have been on pretty pitiful sales, only 9.6k). Which she might well do, but always hard to predict.

Not sure what to expect from Kelly Clarkson, her last regular album only got to #11 (6 years ago) and there doesn't feel like a lot of hype around this return, but she is ahead of Maisie on iTunes for what it's worth.

Young Thug is doing a little better than Gunna did on streaming last week but I think probably still not enough to be a #1 contender.

Posted by: steve201 24th June 2023, 10:56 AM

Think ‘Diamonds’ could do well - is t Elton performing on the Sunday night? It starting from a high base anyway.

Nice to see the new Foos album responding well to the performance as opposed to the new AMs one 🤨

Kind of interested to see how well Grian does with a solo album.

They’re mainly a US band. 2/3 of the members are from the US and they formed in Los Angeles!

Although a lot more of their promo seems to be happening over here.

Jacob is the only singer in the band, I don’t think anyone would want to try and compete with his vocals!

Intrigued to see what Cian sells. Great to see him at #1

Posted by: Bjork 4th August 2023, 09:33 AM

Curious too, I read there are quite a lot of formats, that he made even a choir and a strings version of the album
plus lots of bundles, signed stuff

doesn't compare to Skindred and their 8 vinyls although some are very limited 50-300

Some album chart predictions, as I'm bored!

4th August: Cian Ducrot vs. Travis' second week, but I'm leaning towards Cian. Skindred as the dark horse band.

11th August: Drake if he actually releases as rumoured. If not, probably Liam Gallagher's Knebworth 22 live album.

18th August: Hozier! Perhaps Giggs has a chance, I remember he had quite a big push for it when he went against Architects a few years ago.

25th August: There's no obvious #1 here, I'd put my money on Burna Boy.

1st September: It's Royal Blood vs. The 1975's 10th anniversary re-release. A few years ago Royal Blood would be the obvious choice, but they don't seem to be making as much noise now. I think I'd go for The 1975 here.

Claire Richards must surely stand a good shot. The Steps fanbase are more likely to be on board with this album than her previous one.

I’ve been very wrong with my previous 3 predictions but I think Cian will easily get the number 1 and I predict his sales will be around 19K. If that flops then my horse is N-Dubz funky.gif

What an odd name for the Hives album 😂

Posted by: Bjork 13th August 2023, 09:39 AM

The Hives always had great odd album titles
I own one of their album from the 00s that is called Tyranosaurus Hives ohmy.gif

Used to know the story behind this Fitzsimmons in the title cos in the past albums
all songs were credited as written by this Fitzsimmons, even though no one in the band is called like that
so I think it's just a pseudonym for someone in the band or their collective name or something

Posted by: steve201 15th August 2023, 06:51 PM

Haha love their creativity with them!

Was a bit surprised to be reminded that a) Hozier has only had 2 albums before this and b) they only got to #3 and #6 respectively (actually both charted higher in the US, #2 and #1) - would think this one will be a fairly easy first #1 for him after how well 'Eat Your Young' did!

No sign of Drake!

Posted by: Brer 25th August 2023, 06:04 PM

Would have been an easy #1 for Drake if he had dropped - a little less obvious who the frontrunner is without him. I think Burna Boy will do well enough to hold off The Weeknd et al. (his last album did 10k first week at #2 last year and no obvious reason to suspect this one will fare much worse), but harder to guess if any of those others will be in contention - Claire Richards' last album did 6.1k first week (#9 in 2019) and Alice Cooper's did 6.5k (#4 in 2021), not impossible that one of them could snatch it if they have enough formats etc.?

Interested to see where Ariana's re-release of 'Yours Truly' charts, not sure how much interest there is in it really.

edit: actually looks like the vinyl of it isn't out this week so probably nowhere

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 25th August 2023, 06:33 PM

Digga D's last 'mixtape' got to #1 last year... it doesn't look like this one will have the same success based on its performance here and on Apple Music so far.

I think this new Digga D mixtape is an independent release hence the singles not making as much noise (apart from 'Energy' randomly), similar to what's happened with Fredo - definitely not expecting that to be in contention, probably low top 10?

We’ll have to see how they’re doing in the update tomorrow, but it’s pretty clear that their new style just isn’t what their fanbase want to hear from them.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 22nd September 2023, 12:24 AM

No surprises for the #1 this week!

It’s a double helping of openly pro right-wing musicians with Aaron Lewis and Tom/Adam at #5 and #6.

Early look:

1. Kylie Minogue deluxe
4. Stephen Sanchez
5. Staind
6. Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun
7. Kylie Minogue standard
8. Doja Cat
11. Anastacia
13. Teenage Fanclub
18. Paul Rodgers
22. 3TEETH

Posted by: Brer 22nd September 2023, 12:44 AM

I didn't know Staind still existed as a band. I'm sure I heard that Aaron Lewis had moved on from that style (unless they've just turned into a shitty right wing country band).

I see this is their first album since 2011.

I just flicked through the iTunes previews and it just sound more rocky than Lewis’ solo releases, although his country twang is quite prominent.

I don’t immediately notice any right-wing themes though.

Assuming Drake's album does actually come out, could well be a second #2 album of the year for Nines. Although not sure what kind of sales to expect from Roger Waters.

Fingers crossed for a decent position for Sufjan. His last ('normal' solo) album charted at #35 in 2020 but iirc that had a slightly delayed physical release whereas it looks like the release is all coordinated this time. He had a #6 album in 2015, so hopefully top 20 is reasonable for this one?

Although actually... Joe Bonamassa coming for #1 obvz cheer.gif

edit: Drake album apparently coming out at 6am EST so 11am UK time.

15K in Jan 2020, things not looking good judging by itunes
but I think they got lots of formats, lots of different vinyls (at least 4 that I know of) so hopefully they do better on physicals than on itunes

I think Taylor should have a good chance of a second week at #1 but it'll be Cliff Richard if any of the new releases, can't see Jung Kook coming particularly close.

Madness sold 20.2k (#5) with their last album... but that was 7 years ago now. I haven't noticed much promo for their new one either.

Emeli Sande has no chance though, her last album charted at #27.
