Hey Riser!
Oh what a lovely #1 we have here, it's a very beautifully written song in fact, what a gem! Nice to see Calvin Harris climbing this month, and Frenship too. Love that OneRepublic feature in your chart, I do love that track at the moment. And I notice too Cheat Codes with a song I have belatedly come to love. It's my guilty pleasure at the moment! If you'd like to view my own personal chart, created 25th November 2016, the link is HERE. I'd love to hear your views! Good chart from you this week, thanks for sharing! |

Hey Jordan! Hope you had a good time away
1. Alessia Cara Scars To Your Beautiful [17-5-1] I guess this may have a shot at being a hit now that R1 are supporting it? 2. Hailee Steinfeld & Grey feat. Zedd Starving [39-18-3-2] I've gone off this quite quickly, it just sounds very basic to my ears now 3. Ariana Grande feat. Nicki Minaj Side To Side [4-1-3] 4. Calvin Harris My Way [11-4] 5. DJ Snake feat. Justin Bieber Let Me Love You [7-3-2-5] 6. Sia feat. Kendrick Lamar The Greatest [26-16-6] Number -6 next week then? good to see her smashing your chart anyway! 8. Zara Larsson Aint My Fault Everyone seemed to be comparing this to Rihanna when it came out, but I really can't see the comparisons, can you? 10. Shawn Mendes Mercy A nice little song I guess, but it's not quite up there with Stitches or Treat You Better, is it? 12. Rae Sremmurd feat. Gucci Mane Black Beatles OK I really don't like songs that don't have much of a melody and this is no exception. Why was this even chosen to be the #MannequinChallenge soundtrack song anyway? have you partaken in any Mannequin Challenges yourself? 13. Bruno Mars 24K Magic [27-13] Speaking of songs which don't have much of a melody... 14. Rihanna Love On The Brain Great to see this enter so high for me, this is her best single for years, she sounds great on it and it's a fantastic song! Her star seems to have faded in recent years but I really wish this would have been a hit. 15. Maroon 5 feat. Kendrick Lamar Dont Wanna Know Jumping on the latest bandwagon is one thing but releasing something as generic, lazy and lyrically poor as this is quite another. Worst single they've released to date! I don't wanna know, know, know what the album's gonna sound like. 16. Niall Horan This Town Nice little song and he's always been one of my fav 1Ders but ultimately it is a little boring, so hopefully he releases something more interesting and uptempo next. 17. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk Starboy [38-17] 18. Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha In The Name Of Love [7-8-18] 19. Fifth Harmony Thats My Girl 20. Daya Sit Still, Look Pretty [18-12-11-4-20] 23. Louisa Johnson So Good 'So Average' would have been a more appropriate title for this (although granted that doesn't sound as catchy lol). 24. OneRepublic Kids [40-24] 25. Kenny Chesney feat. P!nk Setting The World On Fire [39-25] I still didn't get round to listening to this, oops. I will though. 26. The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey Closer [32-6-10-26] 32. Adele Water Under The Bridge I'd have preferred River Lea or Million Years but I guess those were never going to happen. This is nice enough! 33. John Legend Love Me Now 34. Little Mix Shout Out To My Ex Surprisingly low, I thought you'd be loving this by now! 35. Chris Stapleton Parachute I used to go to school with someone called Chris Stapleton. He was a good friend, but he moved schools and I lost touch with him. I even wrote to him afterwards but he never replied so I don't know if he ever got my letters. I wonder if he's a singer now? 37. Twenty One Pilots Heathens [39-28-21-23-37] 38. Kanye West Fade Excellent stuff as per |

Twenty One Pilots Heathens [39-28-21-23-37] 38. Kanye West Fade Excellent stuff as per 1. Yeah, wonderful news! Hope it stays on the playlist over Christmas so it has a better chance over the holiday. 2. I'm not there yet but probably will be before long, I still think pretty highly of it though! 6. Yes, although if it's moving 10 places each month it'd actually climb to -4 8. I totally can! I think it's in the verses, but I'm not sure if there's one particular Rihanna track it sounds like or not. But that was my first reaction as well, surprised you don't notice it 10. Well, I'd disagree and say it's almost up there with Stitches (which is my favorite of his). 12. Haha I've not done any mannequin challenges, never did a Harlem Shake video back in the day either I think it was entirely random, like the first one that got really popular just happened to have that song playing and so all the others followed suit. 13. Yeah Certainly not up to his usual standard so hopefully there's better on the album! 14. This should make my top then, fingers crossed (if that's any consolation )! Hugely disappointing that it missed the top 100 entirely, it's top 40 in the US! 15. Yeah, I used to love their albums but ever since 'Payphone' I've only bothered paying attention to the singles. I don't think this is their worst though, but certainly the laziest. 16. Good call, he needs something to make him stand out more. 23. Nah, to me it's a perfectly fitting song title 25. You hopefully won't regret it! 34. It took a few weeks but finally HAS clicked with me so fingers crossed it will climb! 35. That must be him! He's a Grammy-winning country singer now !!! But seriously, that's quite a story! Thanks very much |
