This is out next week. It's not had much in the way of promo but it has been heavily supported by the Heart network, who have been playing it a half a dozen times a day. The iTunes pre-order has been consistently top 200 for weeks now, ahead of the likes of Olly Murs and Take That.
At one point I was hoping it'd be a surprise #1 but maybe the likes of Tom Odell and the Children In Need single will get in the way. I think top 5 is a real possibility though and I think it's going to be one that will keep selling into the new year as more and more people hear it. Optimistic prediction: #7.
I hope it can get top 10 anyway, it's now JUST outside the top 100 on pre-orders so should be possible. It's just a matter of if the stars are in their favour and those shitty cover versions don't throw a spanner in the works. |

Time for optimism

I really hope it can go top ten, although without Heart it would admittedly be nowhere. I hope it doesn't swiftly exit the chart though, it's the sort of song that would easily be a huge UK top three if it was top five in the airplay chart.
I feel like it's going to end up at No.11 or something... |

I'm hoping a high chart debut could help it get noticed more with other sources, to be honest though I'm still pinching myself that this is even happening for them! If you'd have said to me at the start of the year Sophie Ellis-Bextor would get a top 5 album and The Veronicas would be contending for even a top 10 hit, I'd have probably told you we're existing in one of my dreams. |

Have there been any singles that have done as well as this has on pre-order and failed to make the top 10?
I hope Capital will get on board once this charts. This post has been edited by AcerBen: 6th November 2014, 10:17 PM |

It deserves to be top 3 but I'm thinking 7 on Sales & 13/14 on the official chart. Really hope I'm wrong with the latter.

With that list though, some of them initially debuted high when put up for pre-order but dropped never to be seen again so it's hard to compare. |

This is going to do exactly the same as Christina Perri's 'Human' in my opinion, which peaked at #14 if I remember correctly. So I'll guess at that again for this, wish it was a #1 though! Although I don't think anyone would've predicted The Veronicas having another potential top 10 hit here again so to even be close would be amazing!

This has been pretty much consistently top 250 for at least three weeks now hasn't it? |

Might just sneak in at #10, preferably not though unless it's kicking out Bang Bang or Wicked Games.

Without any promotion it will most likely flop.
