I think Villa will just accept anyone with proven experience right now regardless of their history. McLeish was obviously unpopular due to the fact he came directly from Brum & just wasn't very good really (granted he did win the League Cup) but got relegated twice as well.

We got to 20 points relatively quickly, we seem to be taking forever to get to 30 points.
 We've been utter w*** for 2 months now. Our last 11 games, 2 wins, 1 draw and 8 defeats.
