It's an interesting one, I imagine they will be very close!

Looking back at their previous albums released a couple of months apart in mid-2013, Demi sold 10.7k to peak at #10 first week while Selena sold 6.3k to peak at #14.

I'd imagine something fairly similar with them both this time round, but I think Selena will sell maybe 8-9k while Demi will stay around 10k. Although both may be a little less than that. So I think Demi will slightly outpeak and outsell Selena as Demi does seem to have that UK fanbase slightly more than Selena, but both will be very very similar and it could easily be the other way around.

But I think Demi will peak higher.

Added a poll to the thread!

I think Demi will both peak higher and sell more, especially going by the previous era. Selena's had a bigger hit single this era but with the complete lack of hype surrounding Same Old Love so far, I'm not sure it will translate to album sales. Cool For The Summer is more recent really for Demi so that will work in her favour for promoting the album, as Confident the song hasn't impacted yet. I can see both making the top 10 though!

They weren't out the same week in the first place, it's just a comparison of their sales/peaks heehee.gif
