BuzzJack Music Forum _ Reality TV _ Big Brother: Power Trip • The Ultimate Ranking | RESULTS

Posted by: Rabbit Heart Aug 17 2014, 01:57 PM

Well, this series proved more than ever how wrong the public can get with deciding the housemates fates. So let's forget that all the decisions that were made throughout the series and let Buzzjack produce their ultimate ranking to see what would happen if we had full control of the house. It has been an awful series due to various housemates as well as a lot of wrong decisions made by the producers in a bid to make things more entertaining but, in reality, making it worse. There have been some awful housemates and so I can't bring myself to bring many of them positive points so here's the format I would like everyone to follow:

Helen Wood
Jale Karaturp
Kimberly Kisselovich
Mark Byron
Marlon Wallen

Says it all about this series that Helen is on + points drama.gif at least she had a personality, even if she was vile laugh.gif and she brought more to the series than most, such as Kimberly, Marlon, Pav and Ash who were all offensively beige. I only really like up to Matthew, Winston or Zoe too I suppose but neither brought too much to the series to be honest.

Toya staying would have been amazing! Mostly because she was such a QoL but also because she have definitely have actually stood up to Helen, probably sooner than Ashleigh and Christopher properly did!

She is AMAZING on Twitter. Helen,Ash however are disgusting. Making racial comments towards her, encouraging fans to send her (& Danielle and Matthew) vile things. That is our winner. I still cant really get my head around it.

Helen Fan pages I can understand because she is a big character (however I can't at people thinking she is "OMG QUEEN!1!1!1" but Toya, Danielle etc. are "obsessed bullies" or whatever, but I'm absolutely BAFFLED by Ash fan pages. Literally I just.... He has NOTHING to him, he isn't even that attractive. Each to their own but how on earth you can base an entire twitter account around him and tweet about him 24/7 is beyond me.

Posted by: JosephStyles Aug 17 2014, 02:28 PM

Oh I very much think Ash is attractive kink.gif He was very up and down in the house for me, nice guy, some good moments, but could be quite nasty at times (ie. the Jale/Toya stuff). I don't think he was an awful housemate on the whole though, just in with the wrong crowd maybe?

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but wow the abuse Toya is getting for speaking her mind is DISGUSTING. Calling her a "black c**t" and other derogotary racial remarks, then claiming Helen is a queen. This is why I hate a lot of people.

From what I've seen, a lot of her fans are as bad as, if not worse than, Helen when they're confronted, questioned or challenged drama.gif a lot of them are adamant Ashleigh bullied Helen! I swear a lot of them just hate Toya because she isn't up Helen's ass.

Christopher had all the elements of a great 'normal' housemate but he was just too cringe-worthy too regularly to be higher! I've never really understood the Toya love (except for in the very early days). She was incredibly arrogant and unreasonable in arguments which took away from her entertainment value for me. I would have liked her to stay longer than she did though. Kimberly is perhaps the most disappointing housemate ever. I was always willing her on as I thought she had it in her to be interesting/opinionated etc. but Steven's existence unfortunately ensured that that potential was never realised. If I was rating these people solely as human beings, Helen would be lower but I can't deny that she was a fascinating housemate.

So with no real surprises, the worst housemate, out of a fairly horrid group, is Steven! He was arrogant from the start, believing that no one could surely dislike him and throwing up a huge fuss when he was put up for nomination (both instances were when Chris was a power housemate funnily enough). He never understood why they would pick him, even though, after the end of the housemate’s power, the majority of the house were up. Well Steven, I would surely hate for you to see this then although, the BOTS love (led by Emma and Rylan) after Steven left won’t have helped. Aside his arrogance and him believing that Pauline was the kindest woman to grace this world, Steven was involved in a controversial relationship with Kimberly. Starting off with the question ‘How many countries have you been to?’, their relationship elevated to a level where they had sex in a room full of people on national TV. He was very controlling towards Kimberly and often professed his love for her which I’m sure many people weren’t aware of as he kept it hidden fairly well. He ordered Kimberly to open it and stated that her treatment towards him made him feel like someone had ~censored~ all over his face. With such lines as ‘I’ve dealt with this fairly well, you wouldn’t have dealt with it this well’, it’s no wonder Kimberly stayed with him.

In a closely fought battle, Pauline just about manages to not come last. Her Big Brother experience shows the power of the VT. Firstly, she was seen as a favourite due to her VT being able to portray her as one, leading to her becoming the first power housemate. People say that the power went to her head but we can’t truly judge if it did or she was just being herself as, we as the public, never knew what she was like before the power. Anyway, whilst in the power, she had to judge everyone through their VTs, which she took to the extreme, turning the house against certain housemates due to a couple of lines they said in order to get into the house. She was able to grant Mark £5,000, give Jale a killer nomination (for a comment over chicken) and she also did something else that in no way at all changed the scope of the series. She was the oldest housemate in there by a lot of years which is possibly the reason, along with her having the power, why she was able to rule the house, with many housemates looking up to her as if she were high and mighty. Jazzy P was overly patronising and always believed that she knew best. She could happily dish out ‘advice’ and have a talking to housemates whenever she felt like it but she was never ready to accept it, something that only further prevented her and Jale ever getting along. She did have a huge impact on the dynamics of the rest of the series, whether it was down to the power or not but, unfortunately it was a terrible impact.

The pass to the final and killer nomination after just a couple of weeks is probably the most ridiculous twist BB has ever had, no housemate should have that much power after just a day or two. But yeah Pauline was an absolutely awful woman anyway, I struggle to think of one redeeming quality other than her one or two days of being the favourite, but like you said RH there's no way of knowing if was just her VT or not!

Pauline having to make those decisions also ruined the power trip twist imo, as they couldn't really go anywhere else with it other than manipulating nominations again...

Posted by: ROBOT Aug 23 2014, 04:37 PM

The only thing I'm thankful of is that, I keep thinking, if Pauline hadn't got the power, then many of the other housemates would've chosen her for the pass to the final, and she'd have been far worse to endure for the whole process than Helen imo.

Posted by: Davidson Aug 23 2014, 05:07 PM

I would like to sincerely apologise for giving the horrific Steven his highest score. I feel appalled.

Well I guess you're right there, didn't think of that! She was idolised for whatever reason from like day 1 by basically everyone in there, I think except for Pauline Mark would have been most likely to get the power and he'd have definitely given her the pass :/ As I've said a few times about Helen, at least she had a week or so of being ok and was entertaining at times.

Yawn. Another arrogant housemate here who was always caught looking in the mirror as well as showing signs that he was misogynistic. For some reason, he apparently has an alter ego but this was never seen as the house, in fact, no interesting things from him appeared in the house. He did strike a couple of perhaps unlikely friendships through Jale and Danielle and seemed a bit like a spare part in ‘cool’ gang. His fate was sealed and the house turned on him once he pushed that button to save himself from eviction and, after receiving the most nominations, he was immediately evicted as part of the Armageddon twist. Now, as much as I disliked Marlon, this twist was perhaps one of the worst to appear in the shows history. The whole show is based around ‘who goes? you decide’ and so this twist completely threw this out of the window, especially when the housemates had no idea they were evicting someone. Often, one of the most entertaining housemates and well-loved on the outside has the most nominations and so we can only be thankful for the button pressing as otherwise it would have been the case here, with Ashleigh leaving. Also, if we look at the previous series, it would have meant Gina or Dexter leaving, ultimately the two stars of that series leaving without a proper exit and just through the back door.

The fact that I found Marlon one of the least annoying housemates in there says something about this series!! But saying that I'm still glad he's on negative points. I agree that he shouldn't have been evicted without a public vote - that just sets a precedent and could be open to abuse from the producers in the future.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 25 2014, 11:58 AM

He was SO BORING. In a way it was fine he went out the back door, fitting even given he didn't really do anything to deserve either claps or boos (he was a little arrogant to begin with I guess p), but I agree with everything you said about the twist. I get that they wanted Armageddon to tear up the house, but the casualty of the first twist just ended up being probably the most nondescript housemate so it didn't affect the house at all. I fail to think of a way it could have worked, fans would have caused uproar if a fan favourite like Ashleigh, Chris or Christopher were evicted and rightfully so. If it rid us of someone hated (Steven for example), most people would be disappointed he didn't have to experience the whole "humiliation" (as some people put it) of an eviction, but when someone nondescript was evicted through these means it didn't "CHANGE THE WHOLE HOUSE FOREVER!!1!1!1".

So yeah in short, awful housemate and twist. He just didn't have enough to him for him to be as bad as some of the horrors this year.

My understanding was that the Marlon we saw 95% of the time (i.e. a cocky, vain lad-type who enjoyed #ladbanter, pranks and thought he could get any girl etc.) was the alter ego. According to Jale anyway, this persona was forced for the cameras and the real Marlon was the more sensitive guy who got on with her. I definitely thought he came across much better in his post-eviction interview and BOTS where he seemed drained by the week he had post-button pressing and dropped the act.

That's a good point actually. Although I did think that his quietness in his post-eviction interviews were down to him wanting to attract sympathy but I suppose that may be me being harsh towards him.

She didn’t show many aspects of a stand-out character in her week’s stay so it’s hard to judge Tamara and she may have been higher had she stayed longer. However, she was a victim of being part of the ‘cool’ gang and possibly a protest against Helen’s final pass. After Danielle’s explosion after being nominated, it seemed clear that she would go and so the public choosing to evict Tamara seemed like we would get another series of the public getting it right! However, weeks 3-4 highlighted that this would not to be the case. The only real notable thing that Tamara was able to do was start a romance with Winston and so, that reason itself, is a good enough one to evict her. The less romances in BB, the better.

What appeared to be a very interesting character to start with, Kimberly actually refused to reveal any of her layers and so ultimately had the personality of a robot. I was really urging her to break her front and become this fierce game-player. Yet much of her ‘storylines’ in the house were just about her relationship with Steven. It was a miracle when her face moved from it's default position. She should have just let go and open up, instead all she did was open IT (whatever 'it' was). She left through the back door intending on returning but, alas, this was not meant to be. She would have been evicted on that night anyway so it's not as though the horrible reasons that caused her to leave damaged her time in the house.

Posted by: Rabbit Heart Aug 26 2014, 06:35 PM

NO.

(I meant joint 14th. Why am I getting these numbers so wrong? I had Steven and Pauline as 14th and 13th instead of 19th and 18th drama.gif)

Posted by: Jade Aug 26 2014, 06:37 PM

Pretty spot on results so far! Yeah early on Kimberly was one of my favourites as she seemed to have potential, I felt myself rooting for her around the time of the electric shock task. It's a shame that she became attached to the god-awful Steven, and ruined any potential she had. Oh well, at least she wasn't as bad as some that have already gone like Steven or Pauline.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 26 2014, 06:41 PM

Kimberly was AWFUL (mostly). She was actually my favourite for maybe a week or so because she did seem very clever and it was great how she sassed Marlon when he was leering over her, but that soon faded and she was totally gone by the time Steven got to her. Ultimately, she was a total waste of a housemate.

After applying to be on the programme for 6(?) years, Biannca finally got her wish when she was chucked into the BB15 house halfway through by means of the ‘Armagaddon’ twist. Even though she did not receive a proper entrance that she probably hoped for, Biannca clearly intended to do as much as possible that would make talked about/remembered. However, this was mainly just through exposing Danielle, wanting to ride Winston’s ~censored~ and taking her clothes off. Imagine if the situation was reversed and a guy was repeatedly stating his intent to have sex with a girl towards them which she repeatedly refused, I doubt many would be pleased. Her exposing of Danielle, while maybe interesting to watch, was totally unfair considering new housemates should not talk of the outside world. Yes I know this series threw up and destroyed the rule book but can’t we at least have this aspect?!? Finally, of course, she regularly took off her clothes including rolling around fully naked in sewage. Well, wow. Clearly she was purposively wanting to make herself a talking point on the same level as Kinga and THAT incident. Knowing that 5 days spent in the least-watched BB series wasn’t going to make much of an impression, she made one last flagging attempt on her exit when she flashed her ~censored~.

‘I feel like I don’t belong to any group’ ‘I don’t think I’ve been accepted into the group’ ‘I’m feeling like an outsider’ ‘They’re not accepting me’ ‘I’m by myself’ ‘I’ve finally been accepted into the group’. Yes, I appreciate it must be very, very hard to come in halfway through (especially after there was tension when the housemates came in a mere 24 hours later on the second launch night!) However, there is nothing else I can write about Pav other than whether he was accepted into the group or not. (I think the highest and lowest speak for themselves laugh.gif) I don’t even think there was an episode following his entrance that did not involve a diary room entry from him saying something along the lines of the first part of this commentary. It is hard to force yourself on people if they’re not being particularly welcoming but try to make the most of a once in a lifetime opportunity! Also, I do believe that were aspects of a game-player to him as whenever there was an obvious argument coming, he would immediately remove himself from the situation, either for him not to be dragged into it or so that he would not also look bad for not getting involved (as we know many viewers have grown to complain of this). He was a nice person though, just not the right person to go on Big Brother.

He didn't have that much too him and, I believe, if you took away his looks, he would not have come as high as 4th. In particular, he would not have just got away with eviction in Weeks 3 & 4 and he would have actually been evicted himself. He was the laidback housemate but I was/am not a fan of him. I felt, his 'maggot' comment in particular, showed his true personality ie, again, a 'cool' kid at school who doesn't care about those who are beneath him in the social hierarchy. I won't dwell on the matters on why I disliked him as I accept that they could come across as a bit undeserved and that it's just me interpretating things wrongly. So, what else do we have to Ash? Well Jale receives the honour of having a total that is neither minus or positive and she lands in 11th place. She definitely brought some much-needed level-headedness to the house. She received some much unfair treatment during the first two weeks, ie Pauline's stay, which I personally believe was down to her being the only non conventionally attractive young female, see the slug comments. I think the treatment of Jale is the reason why the 'cool' gang got their name as it was familiar to many school type events. Jale received the killer nomination from Pauline because she took too much chicken. It would be interesting to see how far she would have got without the killer nomination, she most likely would have been up in the first week or so but I believe she wouldn't have during the middle of the series. This was when she sort of 'switched sides' which the public took a dislike to and used it as an excuse to save Ashleigh, causing Jale's eviction. As I said, I believe Jale was very level-headed throughout and brought calmness to the house and was needed in the type of house that we got this year. Her reactions to her treatment in the first couple of weeks were truly commendable as she tried to rise above it and never caved in. It would have been nice had she stayed in longer but she wasn't brimming full of entertainment so I'm not going to complain about it.

Jale was alright, she was quite level headed as you said but I didn't like how she moved over to Helen's group after all they said and did to her. She did say afterwards that those lot were closer to who she'd get on with outside the house which I understand, but she disappointed me by forgiving them so easily. Although of course we only saw what made the hour long highlights show so we can't say if they properly made up or not. I loved her in the first three weeks or so, she really handled her treatment by the vile Pauline really well, to think she got that killer nomination for a bit of chicken :/ Her eviction over Ashleigh has to be possibly my moment of the series though, I really felt a part of a "family" fanbase when we managed to save her when it looked so certain she'd go! The gif of the moment where Emma called Jale's name and it shows the split screen of both their reactions makes my life *.*

Mark was awful, he was funny for a few weeks but so so fake ultimately, it wore thin quite quickly. Maybe if he didn't go so overboard on the nails down a chalkboard high voice screeching "CHRISTOPHEEEEEEE" every five minutes he wouldn't have been so hideously irritating drama.gif

Ash has got to be next surely?! :/

Posted by: Doug Aug 29 2014, 11:13 PM

I'm going to predict:

1st // christopher
2nd // ashleigh
3rd // toya
4th // matthew
5th // danielle
6th // chris
7th // winston
8th // zoe
9th // ash

Posted by: troylovesmusic Aug 29 2014, 11:56 PM

I liked Jale at the start but then she got really irratating and I'm glad she left when she did. Mark IMO was a great housemate he brought a lot to the house and series wouldn't have been the same without him.

Not my personal order but how I think it will end up like

1st Ashleigh
2nd Toya
3rd Matthew
4th Danielle
5th Christopher
6th Winston
7th Zoe
8th Chris
9th Ash

Posted by: Davidson Aug 30 2014, 12:48 AM

Good results so far. For the rest of it I predict:

1. Ashleigh
2. Toya
3. Christopher
4. Matthew
5. Danielle
6. Chris
7. Winston
8. Zoe
9. Ash

I'll predict

01 Ashleigh
02 Christopher
03 Toya
04 Danielle
05 Matthew
06 Chris
07 Winston
08 Ash
09 Zoe

That top 5 is pretty much my fave 5 but in a very slightly different order, my top 5 is Ashleigh, Toya, Christopher, Danielle and Matthew in that order!

So the housemate who is halfway (and only by 2 points!) is appropriately love or hate him Mark! Initially, I really disliked him and I found him to be the worst housemate (yes, below the terrors of Steven and Pauline!!) as I felt his voice/campness was overly put on and the Scouse accent really did not help. However, I did grow to really like Mark and he brought fun to the house as well as not being afraid to stand up for himself as well as others. One of the other things that put me off him at the start was his previous reality TV experience and his apparent desire to be famous therefore it seemed like he knew how to play the game/get to the final. This was a criticism that was seen throughout the series, especially in his Nicki-esque diary strops over trivial issues such as hair appliances. However, while there were certain elements of Nicki to him that may have been put on, I do still believe that we did see the true Mark as he is someone who really cares about his appearance (and not in an arrogant way like some). His relationship with Christopher is probably what truly brought about his downfall. Usually, with romances in the house, the two housemates stick together at all times. Yet, with this one, Mark did often treat him badly and put nearly everyone else before Christopher. I personally believe this was down to his issues with how his sexuality is/would be accepted by his family. Let's end this on a brighter note about Mark's bromance with Matthew, what a fabulous duo and it's a shame Ma-tthew, Ma-rk (the brangelina thing doesn't really work here!) their friendship was put to an early end.

I found Ash to be very inconsistent.... At times he seemed an alright guy and I thought he may have been alright if he wasn't Helen's conjoined twin for the whole 10 weeks, but at others he was horrible and seemed like a massive twat. I think at best he was very bland, wallpaper really. If he looked like Chris or Steven he'd have been out when he was up the first time I imagine, especially as it was around the same time as the "slug" thing with Jale.

JAZZ HANDS. She's someone who could have appeared in CBB over 10 years ago after coming 4th in Pop Idol, beaten by Will Young, Gareth Gates and Buzzjack fave Darius yet she fitted nicely with the current quota of previous media experience that BB now seems to carry. She was very cheery and happy all the time and, had she been in the house from the start, she probably would have lasted longer than 3 weeks as her sort-of overbearing nature wouldn't have needed time to adjust to as we wouldn't have anything to compare it to beforehand. It did get quite annoying at times though and came across at times as the traditional perceived image of someone working in theatre. She was a slight breath of fresh air though and was the best new housemate out of the three. It's just the problem was that she came across as too much at times. She could easily talk for England and this is what got her into a spot of bother when she made a comment regarding Tesco workers. It was claimed by her that she was the most grounded person you will ever meet but was this actually the case?

Another one where, if you take away the looks, there's not much too him and he wouldn't have got as far as he would. Also, he's the traditional Essex character which is extremely irritating to see now and wasn't even fun to begin with when TOWIE exploded onto our screens. I suppose he was a kind person but there wasn't any development to his character and he was just 'there'. I wouldn't really say he was there as a fun character either as I can't really recall any standout moments from him that didn't involve stripping or using his muscles (maybe his 'I Have a Dream' speech I guess). So, if you remove the traditional Essex #lad nature, he is a nice guy but but he didn't really provide anything to the house for me. I disagree with those who say he's clever than he looks as well as you only need to look at his diary room entries to see this.

Is it really a surprise though? Helen was encouraging her fans to send racial slurs to Toya and re-tweeting them.

I suppose that makes sense, although steven is actually the one who started it off by tweeting that he 'can't believe he shared a house with a nonse' and helen carried it on. the former is just a bitter little shrew, but I don't know what helen is wanting to prove. she somehow won, got her £100k, what could she want now?!

edit: ignore that, turns out steven didn't start it, but still I don't understand what his problem is. the series is OVER.

Just carry on being the rancid old c**t that she is and having her lapdogs support her?

The thing that annoys me most about her winning is that she thinks she can get away with doing and saying whatever the f*** she wants now.

Vile people.

In other shocking news, Tamara and Winston are no longer seeing each other. No surprises there.

I saw all that twitter shit earlier, absolutely disgusting. Does Steven still genuinely believe he's actually funny?' What a twunt. Not that I expected any less from him or Helen.

On first appearances, Chris is your everyday guy therefore, this possibly suggests he does not make a good housemate. Indeed, perhaps he wouldn't have been in another house but his diary room confessions became one of the stronger points of the whole series. He is a very well-meaning man and so it's a shame to see him being victimised even after they have left the house. He was an interesting character who needed the whole experience for certain layers to come about as well as needing it for personal reasons. The Ashleigh/Chris/Christopher alliance at the end was similar to Deana/Luke A/Adam although ACC were full of three strong characters rather than just one in, the appropriately titled 'Deana's soldiers'. I wasn't so keen on him not preparing to welcome the new housemates, despite understanding his reasons, I don't think it was acceptable for him to do something like that when he'd been ostracised from the group before they had come in.

Chris bored me most of the time and irritated me at many other times, at best he was just ok and I agreed with some of what he said. I should have probably liked him more given the amazing company he kept but hey ho... Either way, I think the "cool kids" labelling him "Chris Glitter" etc. on twitter is vile, they're not even in the house anymore so god knows what their problem is to stoop that low, "joke" or not.

Well, from one interesting character to another. The quaint Catholic who worked as a glamour model as well as through Webcams. How can this be? Well, it was pretty clear that, at times, she was trying to be the game player that her former partner Dexter was. After a pretty gruelling appearance on BOTS (one that Steven never received for some reason), she admitted that she did have a game plan but, despite this, we can see that this didn't always follow through. Her reaction to being nominated in the first week was captured beautifully in the live stream and was an immediate highlight of the series as she exploded (and somehow survived eviction). Also, in her last week, it was meant to be 'on like Donkey Kong' but the new housemates scuppered her plans and evicted her in the second unfair eviction of that week. I do believe her background is overexagerated and anyone who saw her part on the Webcam Girls documentary will see that it's the same person that we saw in the house and only chats to men on webcams and nothing else. Also, in the article about Dexter's designer ~censored~, she states that he told her that, not that she saw it. However, there is the cigarette bit where she claims that she had never smoked before even though her Twitter says she had as well as an article where she talks all about the one thing she complained everyone else only talked about in the house, sex. I guess we'll never know the true true Danielle. Anyway, as an actual housemate she did bring some hilarious moments (see her first few weeks) yet she did grow tiring and only ended up bitching in the Pod with Ashleigh.

Danielle was bloody amazing at times, "THAT WAS MY f***ING FISH" being one of her highlights. I think her best moment is crying in the diary room after taking offence to the cocktail Bloody Mary though laugh.gif I don't care if she was fake really, I'd rather watch someone fake and interesting than someone real and horrendously boring. I hate how game player was thrown at her as an "insult", it is a game show really - it is a reality competition with a prize at the end so technically they're all playing the game! :/

Danielle was miles ahead for me. I got so caught up in her "character" and completely lost interest in most of the series after she left </3

I like the top 4 though so not too upset.

Matthew was easily the best housemate in there this year and his eviction was when the series died for me. I did stop watching for a bit after his eviction but I did later catch up because I've watched the show for many years now, and after it's cancellation on Channel 4, I'm aware every series may be it's last. Generally, viewers have been getting it right over the last few years (obviously there are some exceptions especially with finals) so it's so annoying to see my favourites evicted early in both BB and CBB this summer. I wasn't initially sure on Matthew but, as more was shown of him, he really grew on me and his friendships with both Mark and Toya were highlights of the series. He was often spot on with his comments and wasn't afraid to admit when he'd gone to far. The series would have really benefited had he remained in the house and it would have been interesting to see if him and Ashleigh would have grown closer.

CHRISTOPHEEERRRRR.

Yes he only picked up one negative score with the next lowest being a 3! ohmy.gif Christopher was my initial favourite on launch night as I actually believed he would be the type of person that Matthew basically was! It shows that you can't really judge just based on first impressions and can't assume what people will be like. I think it was about halfway through where he was starting to annoy me slightly but he did grow on me again towards the end. I think he did let the public opinion of him affect him too much but it was funny to see his sort of breakdown. Again, he's another good-hearted housemate and I think he was just willing to be liked, both in and outside the house. He was in there to have fun but he wasn't afraid to stand up for himself (even if he was bizarrely criticised for not doing so if I recall) yet he never did it viciously. He was a camp as Christmas and so he deserved his nickname laugh.gif

Ooh! Fabulous top 2 & top 4 for that matter. Don't care who wins here (although Ashleigh to win more since she didn't win the actual series) wub.gif

Posted by: troylovesmusic Sep 4 2014, 12:41 PM

The perfect top 5 and the even more perfect top 2 for me biggrin.gif . Christopher and Danielle annoyed me at times but Christopher was a genuinely nice guy and Danielle was also hilarious at times as well. Don't really mind who wins out of Ashleigh and Toya but I do think Ashleigh deserves to probably win this more due to lasting longer and for IMO being cheated out of her rightful win over Helen sad.gif

Ashleigh to win, Toya would be fab too.

Just two points ahead of CHRISTOPHEEERRR is hot mess Toya. She had loads of poh-tential when she walked into the house and was, generally, keeping out of the drama for the first week or so. I don’t think, on screen, it was ever clear whose group she was actually in during this first week and this is perhaps why she did keep out of the drama. She was, however, still opinionated and warned people away from Christopher. Her moment came though when she had the power. Even though this was her downfall in terms of people wanting to evict her, I’m still thankful it happened because it gave some highlights of the series (and also the ultimate partnership of Matthew and Toya aka the best two housemates of the series). The main highlight was ‘EVERYBODY NEEDS TO CALM THE f*** DOWN’ even though everyone was fairly silent. As I said, she was a hot mess, but she was never vindictive or horrible when she was arguing imo, she just did it with style and it was just funny to watch. The fact that she’s 2nd on here despite being evicted 3rd tells a lot about this series as well as how wrong the viewers get it wrong. The series would have been so so so much better if Toya and Matthew had survived over Marlon and Ash and I can't even stress that enough.

In the end, it wasn’t even close as Ashleigh storms to first place with her lowest score being a 4 ohmy.gif. Conversely to Toya, I believe that, had Ashleigh been evicted in Week 3, she would not have come Top 2 in this. She had a massive growth in terms of entertainment as a housemate and I think this why I like her so much. She started off steady and sort of in the background in the first couple of weeks. Then we saw her partnership with Toya, and following that Danielle. She did still have her moments whilst Danielle was in the house but, I think the two of them together wasn’t beneficial to either of them as the bitching in the Pod did becoming tiring. As I said though, she did have her moments but she really shone for me after Danielle was evicted. She was very opinionated and could easily stand up for herself (or what she believed in) even though she was ‘only a 18 year old girl!!’. I guess she did need to lighten up most of the time and enjoy her time there, because many of her highlights did come when she was having fun rather than just when she was arguing or bitching. I think that’s what puts me off fully supporting her even if she was the 3rd best housemate in there as I just wanted her to have a bit more fun more of the time but I guess it was hard to do so in that sort of house with certain people…

WELL DONE TO YOUR WINNER ASHLEIGH!

Really enjoyed reading your commentary 🐰💙!

A little late too but perfect results! Toya was my favourite housemate of the series, but Ashleigh was just as amazing, if it was not for her we would have had a completely dire series.
