Retro faves:

2001

2- IT WASN’T ME- Shaggy Ft Rik Rok Ducent (214,000) dear me at that 292k people buying Westlife in week one manson.gif Well at least it was for charity but what a useless cover that was. This song really should've been a multi-week #1 but I guess we just had to have Westlife there instead.
3- WHOLE AGAIN- Atomic Kitten (91,000)
4- CLINT EASTWOOD- Gorillaz (86,000)
6- I’M LIKE A BIRD- Nelly Furtado (41,000)
8- MS JACKSON- Outkast (35,000)

1996

2- CHILDREN- Robert Miles (75,000) BOO at Take That stealing this song's opportunity to be a #1 sleep.gif
3- DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER- Oasis (72,000)
6- RETURN OF THE MACK- Mark Morrison (34,000)
8- PASSION- Gat Decor (30,000)
9- I WANNA BE A HAPPY- Technohead (22,000) I wanna be a happy too dance.gif

1991

1- SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO- The Clash
3- DO THE BARTMAN- The Simpsons Lol at this actually 1) existing 2) being a former UK #1
5- YOU GOT THE LOVE- The Source Ft Candi Staton I wonder if this will make an appearance in this week's chart thinking.gif
10- (I WANNA GIVE YOU) DEVOTION- Nomad

1996 wins I guess.

didn't know Gemma Hayes had a top 75 hit, she's an Irish singer-songwriter, but didn't know she had released anything in the UK... a magazine the other day had her in the top 3 x most beautiful Irish women smile.gif

At #40 there is a song that became famous through a TV advert. Can you remember those little colourful balls running down the streets?
Well the artist is actually a one hit wonder although technically he had a second song in the top 40 in 2006 but never again…

This is a re-entry at #40, moved back up from #53.
