#1 in ~ US
Just missing the top 10 is Madonna's 2nd US #1 single. It stalled at #2 there for 3 weeks behind "We Are the World" by USA for Africa, but eventually pipped it to the post! In the UK it had to settle for #2, reaching that unlucky peak twice; one in its initial release, and then again 6 years later when the song was re-released.
