 Marcus & Martinus Unforgettable Marcus & Martinus - Second #1 hit for Norwegian twins Marcus & Martinus, who achieved their first hit eight years ago with Elektrisk, one of their most known tracks (and their first hit in Sweden). - Fifth top 10 hit, spanning six and a half years since Make You Believe in Love became their first top tier hit. - Both of their Melodifestivalen entries have peaked at #1, after Air topped my chart the week after last year's final, where it came second to eventual Eurovision winner Tattoo by Loreen. - Their first song to debut at #1, and their first multi-week #1 single. - A return to form after their last single, We Are Not the Same, a collaboration with bbno$, didn't make my top 40. Melodifestivalen - Eleventh #1 single from Melodifestivalen, starting with 2012's Euphoria by Loreen. There has been at least one #1 from every Melodifestivalen contest since 2016, excluding only 2018 (where Benjamin Ingrosso's Dance You Off spent two separate weeks at #2 behind different songs!). - One of only four Melodifestivalen #1 singles to spend more than one week at #1, and the first since Oscar Enestad's I Love It spent two non-consecutive weeks at #1 in 2019. FO&O's Gotta Thing About You (2017) and Frans' If I Were Sorry (2016) are the only other two, with two weeks (both consecutive) and five weeks (four consecutive followed by a fifth later) respectively. - For the second week in a row, Unforgettable leads five Melodifestivalen entries in my top 10, though the total of top 10s from this year's contest goes up to a record eight - more on this in the next post. Last weekend, the final of 2024's Melodifestivalen aired, with Sweden selecting Marcus & Martinus to represent them at Eurovision this year! Unforgettable was already at #1 last week, and it marks the third time the Melfest winner has topped my chart, following Loreen's Euphoria in 2012 (though I didn't know Melfest existed then and this charted off the back of its Eurovision win) and Frans' If I Were Sorry in 2016. This week, once again, five Melfest songs are in my top 10, albeit a slightly different selection to the five last week. We can't be friends, quite simply put, is Ariana's best song so far, at least for me. It's a joy to watch it do so well on Spotify as well  I am 100% confident she'll keep climbing this week and end up at #1 on the official chart by Friday unless she's there already in today's update.Supernatural is good though not quite as good as yea and, and the latest single for me. It's nice to see that small climb for dizzy :cheer
