So I saw them in Glasgow on Thursday and... I was pretty disappointed.
It was great to hear the big hits and favourites like SOTME, etc but besides that I can't say I cared for the majority of everything else they performed? And even then, the whole show it seemed like they really didn't care about delivering a good vocal performance. Instead it was all about putting on a show / the dancing. Such a shame because it had such a brilliant story and concept (much like the Get Weird tour, tying everything together), but it definitely wasn't executed as well as it could've been. Was particularly at The Cure... all the moments where it could've been such an incredible performance were robbed because they just... didn't sing lol. Unless their next album's to the same standard as Get Weird or Glory Days, I think I'll be giving their next tour a miss oops |

Calum! I’m sad you said that.
I’ve never seen them live before but I have the dvd Of Get Weird and I loved that show. Also for me I can take or leave big performances they’re fun to watch but an artists vocal for me is the most important thing so to hear that leaves me feeling nervous. Still excited to see the show though. Remaining Optimistic here that I’ll enjoy the show though being from the same home town as half the band too maybe they’ll be more excitement at my venue from the band members. When you say you didn’t care for what they performed was it that LM5 wasn’t to your tastes and your personal favourites weren’t on the setlist or did they just not do the songs well? When you say you didn’t care for what they performed was it that LM5 wasn’t to your tastes and your personal favourites weren’t on the setlist or did they just not do the songs well? I'd only seen them live once before, and that was the Get Weird tour so I don't know if my expectations were set too high because that was so brilliant? If you're a fan of LM5 (the album), then I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time! There were a couple of songs from it that they absolutely nailed (Think About Us mainly). It is probably that most of LM5 just doesn't do it for me, but I do feel like even some songs that I wasn't massive on could have been performed / sung a lot better than they were. That didn't really matter to me though because I felt myself zoning out a little during those songs. But the songs that I do love from LM5 were... severely lacking. |

I went last night and did feel a little disappointed too, as it was my first time seeing them and I know how much hype they get as a live act - they put on such a show but the vocals did suffer at times which was disappointing.
I still absolutely adore them & admire what they did, and Seceret Love Song was such a moment! |

I’m sad to see people found this tour disappointing.
I’m going to see it tomorrow and I’m so excited. I’ve only seen them live during One Love Manchester and they were brilliant singing Wings so I can’t wait to see a whole show from them. This post has been edited by LewisGT: 20th October 2019, 09:43 PM |

I think I was probably overreacting to be fair, because in hindsight they put on some amazing performances within it! |

I had a great time last night and thought that they performed all the songs brilliantly, especially Touch, Secret Love Song & Reggaeton Lento. It was probably helped by me being right in the front row though.

Weren't those dates already postponed in the first place due to 'Bounce Back' promo? Now cancelled? Yikes their poor international fans!

They've cancelled the Australian & New Zealand leg of the tour in December after originally postponing from Summer!
The reason is "to focus on new music". I feel bad for the Aussie & NZ fans, they're always so loyal to their faves. |

I feel for the fans for it being post poned to then cancelled.
But if they really are recording then that’s pretty good news. Really hope they come back with a smash!! |
