Yeah Phil it did. It sounds too demo-y to compare to GaGa's final version though. It's Like Auto-Tune (feat. Britney Spears). Disappointing. Anyway, I'm over the disappointment now as Glee is on tonight

How has ya'll day been? Mines been rather sh1te tbh. The man I'm in love with (AKA My Boss who is like the 5th fittest bloke EVAH) shouted at me at work today for turning up half hour late then when I argued back he dared to give me a rolicking which left me close to crying tbfh.
Love sucks. But other then that I found out that my bessie is pregnant (again) after just giving birth 5 months ago so squee for that!

Well Heather Morris who plays Brittany said in a recent interview that she has no singing at all in the back 9 but now that she is a regular in Series 2 she hopes to have a singing part.

I'd love to see Brittany getting a chance to shine.......I'd like to see Santana and those other guys get more of a look in too.....tbh those two guys just seem like major filler I really want them to do something apart from just be there.
Overall I'd love it if they layed off the Rachel/Finn songs every single episode and focused a bit more on the likes of Tina/Britanny/Santana/Those Guys/Quinn (Quinn doesn't seem to get many songs...)

I doubt they'd get rid of Mike Chang ("The Other Asian") as he does most of the choreography, which is why they only have him have like dancing solos and stuff.

I'm completly obsessed but not in a love way in a "I need to do unquestionable things to him all night" way. He really is Godly. We went out for a fag this evening and I wanted to jump him there and there. Sod the cameras and sod his bleeding wife lol.
But yes, it is awful when they shout at you and I DID call in before hand to let them know I was going to be late but he still had a shouty mood. JEEZ.
Oh and back onto Glee- the reason that Santana, Brittany, Other Asian and Shaq are there is because the people who portray them are trained dancers in real life.

My manager (my god, heaven on earth) but yeah he used to do late shifts with me and our smoking area was round the back of the store and on 11pm finishes he'd walk around with me I was so paranoid smoking, he didn't even smoke
I was smitten oh and one day e walked out of his office in football shorts and I kinda stopped dead and he asked me what I was staring at... it's AWFUL when they flirt with ya (whilst it feels fantastic and giddy on the inside) you get a comedown and then start thinking about it more and more...
GRRR so yeah, I know what you're going through.

I've noticed Brittany is really good at dancing and better than most of the crew!
She was freaking FIERCE in the last episode with all this dancing in 'Ice Ice Baby' and 'U Can't Touch This' which i'm taking my words back and now officially saying that they were OMG. The background noises Gleeks did when Artie was rapping were really amazing, brought new something into the song!
Ahh i've never been obsessed with Glee as much as now :drama;

I've been listening to the Jonathan Ross show on Radio 2 today and he has confirmed that Lea Michele has been booked to appear on his BBC1 Friday night chatshow show before he leaves the BBC.
However, he said that he wants the entire show guests to be the cast of Glee including performing live in the studio, but the BBC Producers wont allow him, as they regard it as a free advert for Channel (E) 4.

I wish everyone luck with exams. I have two next week and I haven't done any preparation seems as I only have to pass to make it to the second year but really it's hard to revise books [I'm doing English] . I'm just taking the 8 I know off by heart in with me and voila.

The new time slot imo is better than the old one. It could help them pick up some viewers as parents are more likely to let their kids stay up to 9 on a school night to watch Glee than 10pm

Oh. Mega annoyed. I just read, that the "Back 9" is not going to be released as a seperate DVD! So those who bought the first 13 episodes (like I did), will have to purchase it again, just for the back-9! I really hope this is false information, although it looks pretty legit! (Hopefully, it's just referring to the US though and they give us a special edition in the UK...)

Finn is insufferable in that episode EUGH. Sue is hilarious as ever though, I nearly peed my pants a little when she went around on a riot pushing things over. The 'Thriller / Heads Will Roll' routine is easily one of their best as well. Amazing.
It's weird last season we saw a rapid decline in quality, but for some reason this season it's been the complete opposite. Nearly every episode from now on is at least 8/10 imo.

As much as I liked Brittany & the baby cannons, I agree really with Jack really that they are risking taking her stupidity too far. In similar cirquamstances Sue could easily end up becoming the show's burden unless they're careful. Quite a number of the charactes infact are in risk of becoming a cleshay of themselves in the first block of episodes really.

Season 1 was just a sleeve with both of the individual one's inside, so we got 3 covers effectively.

Other people who might not be around as much next season (not that they were ever main characters): Vanessa Lengies (Sugar) is in the new ABC comedy "Mixology" which I hear takes first position over Glee, and Mike O'Malley (Burt) is in the new NBC comedy "Welcome To The Family".
Well done to them on being a part of newly picked up pilots I guess. I expect we'll still see Burt in a guest starring capacity but I wonder what this means for Sugar, not that it'll have that much impact at all.

I have absolutely NO IDEA where to post this as I have NO IDEA what series / episodes I've just watched. I just watched Will and Emma's wedding (which didn't happen) and the couple of episodes. I haven't watched this since like Season 2, I think?
I just wanted to say that Santana in New York is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS, genuinely so funny. Can they just do away with the School bit - and just follow Santana, Kurt and Rachel in New York. ! (+ move Brittany there too). I loved Quinn and Santana getting it on at the wedding too.

Earlier I was re-watching some of the first half of S1 and oh my gosh I'd forgotten just how good it was
Loved the early storylines like the Terri baby drama (As much as I disliked her, the story was gripping!), Quinn/Finn/Puck baby drama, winning sectionals, Finn/Rachel/Quinn love triangle, members slowly defecting to the Glee Club, Sue vs. Will when it was actually interesting, Emma/Will friendship/relationship, Kurt coming out to his dad amongst many others and some brilliant song selections. Amazing.

Series 1 was good for setting up the storylines for 2 and 3, which is why 2 is amazing!

Ooh I definitely agree that season 2 is amazing, my favourite season of all 5 actually! I do think though that S1 had the more gripping story lines and had a much stronger finale and S2 was far more fan service with all the guest stars and couples and everything, but I preferred the songs, found it a lot more fun and am a sucker for S2 Klaine

Yeah it really was tbh. I will always watch the show right until the final day, though! idk really my opinion was constantly fluctuating regarding the Santana situation, but I loved how she resolved the conflict!

Not shocked they are in burn off mode, last season's ratings were truly abysmal. It was lucky to even get a final season.
Season 3 and 4 are on Amazon Prime so I'm gonna try and get caught up a bit.

'Loser Like Me' came on shuffle and it made me want to do a re-watch of one of the seasons! Have spammed both season 1 and 2 to absolute death so opted for season 3. My main criticism will always be that this season was where I really began to notice that songs were being shoehorned for the sake of it, rather than naturally interwoven with the plot. But I was obsessed with this cast and would happily take another season that was still focusing on all the original McKinley kids.
Some other random thoughts:
- I think 'On My Way' is one of the most shocked I have ever been at a TV episode as I managed to avoid spoilers prior to it! Forever triggered by 'Chapel of Love'.
- I know Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell were only supposed to get 2 episodes each from The Glee Project, but Lindsay felt underused even so and was a real talent! Loved her in 'The Purple Piano Project'.
- The Nationals medley of 'Edge of Glory'/'It's All Coming Back To Me Now'/'Paradise By The Dashboard Light' is my favourite set of competition performances that were ever done on the show the latter two songs are in my top 5 of Season 3.
I stopped being invested in the show in like late 2013 but gosh, when I was invested in it I was truly obsessed, so it's always really nostalgic revisiting it
