Commentary : The first chart of 2015 sees Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars extend their run at the top to a 3rd week with "Uptown Funk". The Christmas feel is there as Pentatonix get a 2nd week at number two with their cover of "Mary did you know". As Ed Sheeran's incredible 11 week run in the Top 3 ends this week with "Thinking out loud" slipping from 3 to 5 he gets a 12 week run as an artist as "Make it rain" climbs from 6 to 3. Christine and the Queens who is actually a solo singer Heloise Letissier from Nantes is having more success in France with her track "Saint Claude" but on my chart "Christine" is this week's highest climber from 18 to 12. Two new entries this week with the highest at 19 being Kayne West featuring Paul Mc Cartney with "Only one". The only previous entry for Kayne West on my chart would have been "Golddigger" in 2005 but if one includes his recordings with the Beatles , Paul McCartney (alongside Michael Jackson) would have had the most chart number ones/entries ever. The other new entry at 20 is the winner of the 2014 French version of The Voice as part of Team Mika. His music is Spanish/Gypsy influenced and "Andalouse" which has peaked at 4 in France enters my chart this week at 20.
