I really enjoyed The Boy In The Dress, it wasn't quite Gangsta Granny levels of good but it was a good mix of charming, shit and funny.

I loved the Professor Branestawm books as a child so I was looking forward to seeing the BBC dramatisation from Christmas Eve. I saw it tonight and it was good fun.

I thought I'd do a little Ultraviolence-esque list of my TV viewing so far:
Monday: Cinderella, EastEnders, Would I Lie To You, Great British Bake Off Masterclass Tuesday: Chicken Run, Pointless Celebrities, Great British Bake Off Masterclass, EastEnders Christmas Eve: The Grinch, The Muppets' Christmas Carol, Toy Story 3, EastEnders, Skyfall (very film heavy viewing for me - but all four are classics imo). Christmas Day: Nanny McPhee, Top of the Pops, Miranda, EastEnders, Rise of the Planet of the Apes Boxing Day: Doctor Who (on catch up), Cool Runnings, EastEnders, Avengers Assemble Saturday: Still Open All Hours (on catch up), Pointless Celebrities, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Today I'm planning: E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, Still Open All Hours, Big Fat Quiz of the Year (on catch up) |
