01. ODESZA - A Moment Apart
Charting Singles: 03-06-2017 09 ODESZA - Line of Sight ft. WYNNE & Mansionair [13-11-9-18-16-22-33](7) 15-07-2017 20 ODESZA - Higher Ground ft. Naomi Wild [40-35-23-20-23-32-38-40](8) 14-10-2017 14 ODESZA - Across The Room ft. Leon Bridges [26-15-14-18-27-29-35](7) A Moment Apart is the third studio album by the Seattle-based electronic music duo ODESZA, released on 8 September 2017 through Counter, Ninja Tune and Foreign Family Collective. Idk what to even say about this album, never in a million years did I ever think they'd be able to outdo In Return, but boy, I think they may just have with A Moment Apart. Although no single track from the album manages to reach levels of songs such as Sun Models, and none of the singles really managed to grab me, aside from Line Of Sight, the album as a whole is an entirely other story. Just listen to the transition between Intro and the first track, A Moment Apart to understand what I mean. No other album has managed to tell me such a story and take me on such a journey like this one has. If you have heard the singles from this and not enjoyed them very much, trust me, give the album a listen as a whole, it takes you to a different world, packed full of velvety melodies and lyrically driven emotional ballads, it truly is an outstanding piece, best enjoyed as a whole, instead of in parts. I still listen to this album when I'm stressed and just a need a moment away from things which is why it easily becomes my favourite album of 2017 |

Loving the albums - Imagine Dragons, Mura Masa, Dua Lipa, & Avicii especially!
I adored Believer when it was first released and remains a favourite of mine of this year. Thunder and Whatever It Takes are great singles too Love$ick was on repeat for me late last year, then 1 Night earlier this year A great album from someone I can't wait to hear more from. Dua Lipa is brilliant too, all 8/9 singles are great and most of the album tracks are good too My only issue with Avicii's EP is that it was an EP and not an album Great albums all around |

I've not heard the Odesza album but I should.
I liked Mura Masa's album but I felt disappointed at the same time. |

Before I start the actual top 100, here's a list of the 10 songs that just missed out:

Hi Bridgecow
Oops, I think I've only heard Faking It of the entire last batch of 10 :') A shame it missed the top 100 despite being a #1 hit on your chart but it's always the case when songs peak at the same time EOY season comes around It was my favourite track immediately when I first heard the album so I'm really happy it got the single treatment even if I am a little gutted that it never took off at all |

100. Kiiara - Whippin ft. Felix Snow
Chart Peak: 15 Chart Points: 4808 Chart Histories: Kiiara 18-02-2017 22 Linkin Park - Heavy ft. Kiiara [27-22-30](3) 15-04-2017 15 Kiiara - Whippin ft. Felix Snow [17-15-19-21-24-29-34-40](8) Felix Snow 25-02-2017 09 Era Istrefi - Redrum ft. Felix Snow [9-10-19-24-37](5) 15-04-2017 15 Kiiara - Whippin ft. Felix Snow [17-15-19-21-24-29-34-40](8) "Whippin" is a song by American singer Kiiara, featuring American electronic music producer Felix Snow. It was released on April 12, 2017 via Atlantic Records, as the lead single from her upcoming debut studio album. I have to say I was surprised to see this sneak into the top 100, I had completely forgotten that I charted this and I haven't heard since like June, but it's quite a tune so I'm happy to see it here, although it's nowhere near as good as Gold, Feels or Tennesee from low kii savage This post has been edited by ChristmasTreeCow: 16th December 2017, 02:24 PM |

99. Tove Lo - Disco Tits
Chart Peak: 15 Chart Points: 4840 Chart Histories: Tove Lo 09-09-2017 15 Tove Lo - Disco Tits [27-19-16-15-21-25-32-40](8) "Disco Tits" (sometimes stylized as "disco tits") is a song recorded by Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo. It was released on 7 September 2017 as the lead single from Lo's third studio album, Blue Lips. This wasn't completely what I was expecting from Tove Lo, but there's no complaints here, it's just the right amount of crazy and insane to get by and has an amazing video to accompany it, strong lead single from a mostly disappointing album |

Whippin is quite alright but a bit of a downgrade from Gold. She was quite an obvious one-hit wonder though really.
Didn't get Disco Tits at all, it's too much even for her I think. Hope we get a hit sounding single from her soon (is she even trying for commercial success anymore though? doesn't feel like it). |

Yeah it's a shame she's such a one hit wonder cus I think she had a lot of potential, Gold not even being big over here is such a travesty I think she's definitely given up with commercial success, but if she tried I think she could definitely get a hit |

98. Calippo - Alive
Chart Peak: 14 Chart Points: 4848 Chart Histories: Calippo 18-02-2017 14 Calippo - Alive [18-14-18-20-24-28-33-39](8) This is quite a nice house tune that made my chart earlier this year, it's very Selected and probably peaked a bit higher than it should have but it's really good. Calippo's released lots of great bangers after this but none have managed to make my chart, although The Flavor and We'll Be Heard got pretty close |

97. Zac Samuel - Play It Cool ft. Kyla
Chart Peak: 13 Chart Points: 4936 Chart Histories: Zac Samuel 19-08-2017 13 Zac Samuel - Play It Cool ft. Kyla [24-21-17-13-17-24-30-37](8) Kyla 19-08-2017 13 Zac Samuel - Play It Cool ft. Kyla [24-21-17-13-17-24-30-37](8) This is a nice house tune from Zac Samuel, with good vocals from Kyla, not much else to say about this pretty standard deep house track, but it's certainly an imporvement from his Takes A Little Time EP |

BridgeCow !! I don't think I'll ever get Tove Lo Stay High/Habits was a phenomenal song but everything since then has been too edgy or tuneless to make any impression on me. Disco Tits was probably the best song by her since then but I still wasn't huge on it, anything is better than "Cool Girl"...

96. Major Lazer - Run Up ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj
Chart Peak: 08 Chart Points: 4952 Chart Histories: Major Lazer 21-01-2017 08 Major Lazer - Run Up ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj [8-15-21-25-28-30-25-29](8) 25-02-2017 29 Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (Major Lazer Remix; ft. Nyla & Kranium)[29](1) 03-06-2017 31 Major Lazer - Buscando Huellas ft. Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, Quavo [2-1-1-1-3-6-9-11-15-23-32-39](12) PARTYNEXTDOOR 21-01-2017 08 Major Lazer - Run Up ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj [8-15-21-25-28-30-25-29](8) 20-05-2017 29 Katy Perry - Swish Swish ft. Nicki Minaj [29](1) "Run Up" is a song by American electronic band Major Lazer from their upcoming fourth studio album, Music Is the Weapon (2017). The song features Canadian musician PartyNextDoor, and American rapper Nicki Minaj. The song was released on YouTube in January 26, 2017, by Mad Decent and Because Music. This seems waaaay too low, but it's a victim of my weird early chart runs, it's not Major Lazer's best but it is a bop and it deserved to be a bigger hit, it's got that classic major lazer vibe but still feels fresh, at least their follow up Know No Better was an improvement and will be appearing later |

95. Kygo & Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me
Chart Peak: 10 Chart Points: 5008 Chart Histories: Kygo 18-02-2017 24 Kygo - Cruise ft. Andrew Jackson [33-24-28-34-40](5) 18-02-2017 10 Kygo & Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me [10-19-13-15-22-25-33-37](8) 29-04-2017 08 Kygo & Ellie Goulding - First Time [10-8-11-17-22-24-30-30](8) 23-09-2017 06 Kygo - Stargazing ft. Justin Jesso [21-8-6-8-16-20-25-32-37](9) 28-10-2017 33 Kygo - Never Let You Go ft. John Newman [33-40] Selena Gomez 07-01-2017 06 Cashmere Cat - Trust Nobody ft. Selena Gomez & Tory Lanez [6-10-21-23-26-35-39](7) 18-02-2017 10 Kygo & Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me [10-19-13-15-22-25-33-37](8) "It Ain't Me" is a song by Norwegian DJ Kygo and American singer Selena Gomez. It was released by Sony and Ultra on 17 February 2017 as the lead single from Kygo's first EP, Stargazing. Well this is RIDICULOUSLY low, wtaf even is that chart run what was I doing, this is probably Kygo's best stuff this year even though his other stuff has peaked higher (the fact First Time even peaked higher ew), if I had any sense this probably would have made number 1 |
