apparently sounding less like 'ultraviolence' and more like 'born to die' so pretty much more of the same
she's got 9 tracks all done and sorted and it's very much 'noirish' out later this year... |

Let's hope she actually has some new ideas this time instead of singing about popular dead celebrities and putting on shows for her 'Daddy'. Same old same old

I'm here for it if it's more like Born To Die <3 Glad to see she's moving on from Ultraviolence, such a disappointment :/

Omg I heard rumours of a new album this year but wasn't actually expecting it to happen
I can't wait for this, I also seem to be in the few that absolutely adores Ultraviolence here When are people thinking for release? I would guess a Q3 September release at the moment |

Nice to see she's moving on quickly! I'm hopeful she's still got it in her to write great depressing music.

I'm glad she's going back towards a Born to Die sound, I loved that album.
Ultraviolence was good, but all the tracks seemed to sound the same. I need another Dark Paradise. |

As much as I loved 'Brooklyn Baby', I'm glad she's going back to her debut era sound. Her second album was okay as a one-off but if she carried on down that route, I'd have switched off.

I have to admit, I pretty much lost complete interest with this whole Ultraviolence era and didn't really like anything I heard.
I was a fan of the debut, I'll see if she can win me back around. |

Yeah - it's a pity she doesn't actually have some flaws. It might make her interesting.

I am so excited for this. Although I agree 'Ultraviolence' isn't quite as incredible as BTD, I still think 'West Coast' is solid, but I do still listen to a lot of other tracks too.
I hope she doesn't disappoint. |

That was quick...
The Ultraviolence era had a decent tracklist, as well as Born To Die, so I'm pretty excited for this. I was honestly hoping for a sound that's in the middle of the two albums. |

This all seems a bit quick? Although I'm not complaining. Ultraviolence was utter shit for me but Born To Die is another story so colour me excited

Ultraviolence was dull and boring as hell. In contrast, born to die was rather interesting and had some great moments so bring it on if the new album is more like the first.

Ultraviolence was a definite come down after the amazingness of Born To Die.
Sure there are some good songs on there but it doesn't come close to BTD. Or Paradise for that matter. |
