Hair Body Face and Before I Cry went FAR too soon!!
Heal Me should’ve been the lowest rated Gaga solo in my opinion (unpopular opinion). |

11. Why Did You Do That? // 7.68 Just missing out on the top 10 here, it's Ally's SNL performance. In the film it causes tension between the lovers as Jackson laments her for selling out and losing the identity that made her so special. It represents Ally's rise to stardom but alongside this it contrastingly is one of the main causes for Jackson's return to drinking and his disbelief at the transformation his lover has taken. A controversial song, both in the film and here, as it seems to be a very much love it or hate it number. |

10. Diggin' My Grave // 7.77 The first song in the top 10 is also strangely the first song that is a Bradley and Gaga duet. The full song isn't included in the film, but here on the soundtrack both artists let roar. The song is backed by a plucky instrumental that takes you straight to the outbacks of America. It's a song about the dangers of love and loss, as each lie, each tear, each word said is another step closer to death. A powerful song, sung with raw grit, representing the harshness of the film and the brutality of its events. |

Surprised to see Hair Body Face being the lowest of the Aly pop songs! BuzzJack hates a triple threat~
(Lol I know 7.62 is a decent score, but hmm x It’s Top 10 on the album for me) |

09. Music to My Eyes // 7.83 A Gaga and Bradley duet again in the top 10, and it's a true duet in traditional terms. Both lovers sing of their adoration for each other comparing music to th ebeauty that each possesses. It's a beautiful ballad full of lovely images and ideas of the power of music and love as one. |

08. Maybe It's Time // 7.87 The final Bradley solo song crashes out here, leaving a top 7 of all Gaga and duet songs. Maybe It's Time became Bradley's first ever entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and is one of the defining songs from the film - it is about change and dealing with one's internal changing mindset. It has had critical and commercial success, helped by the fact that it is performed several times in the film, and is just a damn good, triumph. It's a well deserved highest entry for Bradley here, especially in a forum dominated by Gaga stans! |

07. Heal Me // 8.1 The first track to get an average above 8 is the delectable Heal Me! A track in similar vein to The Cure, is a song about the healing nature of love. In this, Gaga is the patient, wanting to be cured, to be listened to, to be appreciated and to be loved. It's a beautifully lyrical track about the power that a soul can have on another and represented one of Ally's solo tracks as she ascended up the pop stardom rankings. |

06. I Don't Know What Love Is // 8.32 Just missing out on the top 5 is the stunning, glorious, huge duet ballad. It comes at a moment in the film when the love between Jackson and Ally is pure, unaffected and whole. As the two marry each other, and these airy vocals flow, it's a breathtaking moment of beauty. The song is about the confusion and the mystical nature of love and its power. A true statement of vulnerability and one of the real highlights of the film and soundtrack. |

Heal Me should’ve been the first Gaga solo to go.
I Dont Know What Love Is though aside from Shallow it’s the best duet in the film and I very often replay. |

05. Look What I Found // 8.57 First song in the all important top 5 is 'Look What I Found'. One of the few songs to get a video, the song is a creation from Ally as she discusses her battle to rise to the top. Within her battle, she finds someone to love her and this completes her. It's an upbeat song, plucky and vibrant especially compared to what remains to be found in this countdown... |
