It's quite soon considering we got none of these in HQ, but there's something about WTTD that is sooooo lush.
But 808 is SO catchy too... |

Both are good tracks - still failing to see how 808 (I think?) can be described as What About Us Pt 2?
EDIT: I've had 808 stuck in my head - the drop bit and fight like an animal or whatever the lyrics are! This post has been edited by seantobewild: 3rd August 2014, 07:20 AM |

So close but I think "808" for both options. Both could easily be singles though.

I think I prefer both songs to WAYWF but I think they would need work to both of them if they were to become actual singles. WTTD needs a better chorus rather than just really singing 'night' over and over. If they sorted that out, I think that would be the better choice for the lead single. '808' would also probably need changes to the chorus, possibly changing the lyrics so it could be called something other than 808, not a very catchy single title.
They're both less generic than WAYWF for me but, while I think they probably would both have had a bit more support, I don't think either are they stand-out moment they needed to reverse their fortunes. |

Both of these are actually pretty great, which makes me question even more why they opted with the terminally dull WAYWF to lead their greatest hits.
'Walking Through The Desert' probably edges it for me. |

I prefer Walking Through The Desert, 808 is very catchy but I think it would need a single remix to be released, it needs a bit more oomph I think. I'm not convinced either would do much better than What Are You Waiting For though...

On first listen 808 is alright but very generic. The 'drop like' parts are catchy but what a shit, B-Side like chorus. The start reminds me of What About Us but overall it's not impressed me.
About to listen to WTTD now... Edit - MUCH BETTER!!! Love it. Sounds very On Your Radar to me. This post has been edited by shadow2009: 3rd August 2014, 12:31 PM |

'Walking Through The Desert' for both for me. I love '808' as well of course but I don't think it would work as a single.

I picked 808 as my favourite, but WTTD as the best single. Tbh, I think they're both quality enough tracks to be a single

I'm not hugely into either of them at the moment, but I lean towards '808'.

Both pretty decent, both better than WAYWF? too. 808 slightly better for me right now.
"Bang like a cannibal"? Is that what they're saying? I hope to GOD it is. Drop it like Dahmer y'all. |
