Heyyyyy
Nice climb for 'Adventure of A Lifetime'! It's grown on me a lot over the last month too - the instrumental's such an earworm . Will have to check out the album asap as I've only heard good things~ Oops @ me charting 'Stressed Out' higher than you and thereby proving myself to be the superior fan. (worry) (jk my brother introduced it to me a few weeks ago and twas instant love, particularly the line: 'I wish I didn't have to rhyme every time I sing' (WHICH DOESN'T RHYME WITH THE PREVIOUS LINE!!!11!), simple as it is. <3) I also heard 'Hide Away' on the same playlist of my brother's and liked it v much. Her voice has quite a uniquely infectious quality but I'd imagine it could get grating over the course of an album/EP, idk. Think I prefer 'Sit Still, Look Pretty' but this one's just as catchy. Delighted to see Adele's 'When We Were Young' debut . Some of the lyrics are so effective and the whole thing has such a classic feel to it, even more so than 'Hello', in my mind anyway. Have you been hearing it on radio much/at all? 'One Call Away' is another one I encountered over Christmas and I don't think I've ever heard more predictable lyrics! So many times throughout the song I guessed what was coming, and the whole thing just plods along, so yeah, can't say I'm a fan. Haven't heard anything from Charlie thus far that justifies his position/success, which is a shame. :/ All in all though, lots of gr8 stuff here as usual! |

Hey Jordan! Hope you had an enjoyable Xmas and a very happy new year to you!
1. Ariana Grande Focus [8-1] I'm not much of a fan of this (or her) to be honest 2. Justin Bieber Sorry [2-2] Still a tune, but I'm hoping to see the excellent 'Love Yourself' here next month 3. Adele Hello [1-3] 5. Coldplay Adventure Of A Lifetime [27-5] 6. Ellie Goulding On My Mind [11-3-6] 7. One Direction Perfect [11-7] 10. James Bay Let It Go 14. Little Mix Love Me Like You Yay! Easily one of my favourite pop songs of 2015 15. Sia Alive [20-15] Looking forward to her album, hoping it's just as good as the last one! 16. Disclosure feat. Lorde Magnets I actually quite like this, although I wish it was called something more catchy than 'Magnets' ('No Return' would have made a logical and more memorable title lol) 23. Taylor Swift Wildest Dreams [19-3-10-23] 24. R. City feat. Adam Levine Locked Away [1-3-10-19-24] 27. Rudimental feat. Ed Sheeran Lay It All On Me [28-27] 28. Flo Rida My House I actually quite like this. 30. Adele When We Were Young She really needs to move on to this single now, 'Hello' has had its time! 32. X Ambassadors Unsteady Haven't heard this but I'm absolutely loving 'Renegades' right now, having heard it for the first time last week. 33. Selena Gomez Same Old Love 34. Charlie Puth One Call Away Good song, awful lyrics 39. Adam Lambert Another Lonely Night [34-39] Great song! How is this doing officially? Is he a bigger name in the US than in the UK? Great stuff as always! |

Haven't heard anything from Charlie thus far that justifies his position/success, which is a shame. :/ All in all though, lots of gr8 stuff here as usual! Yeah I've now charted AOAM higher than I charted Magic or ASFOS last year so that's a big deal Haven't checked out a full Coldplay album since Viva La Vida but let me know if you do I guess I will try to make Stressed Out climb next time aaaaaaaaaand I hadn't noticed that lyric in the song V clever though, I'll keep an ear out for it~ I heard When We Were Young loads just as the album was released, not as much now but a couple times recently and certainly will hear it a lot soon. Actually I haven't been driving so not listening to much radio :\ I absolutely feel the same about Charlie, overall he seems quite talentless and just lucky to be where he is, but One Call Away is an improvement at least Thanks Andy! 9. Twenty One Pilots Stressed Out [9-9] *.*amazing!!! Hey Jordan! Hope you had an enjoyable Xmas and a very happy new year to you! Hi Mango! Christmas was excellent, thank you so much and same to you!1. Ariana Grande Focus [8-1] I'm not much of a fan of this (or her) to be honest 2. Justin Bieber Sorry [2-2] Still a tune, but I'm hoping to see the excellent 'Love Yourself' here next month 3. Charlie Puth One Call Away Good song, awful lyrics 39. Adam Lambert Another Lonely Night [34-39] Great song! How is this doing officially? Is he a bigger name in the US than in the UK? Great stuff as always! 1. Not even 'One Last Time'?? 'One Last Time' is a masterpiece 2. I'm not anticipating any more JB songs in my chart anytime soon unfortunately 14. It's a brilliant song, quite retro but almost sounds like a future classic 15. Funny you should say that, I just purchased and listened to her last album over Christmas, so I'm ready for the new one now! 16. Hmm, I'd like to agree but think I prefer the title as it is! But maybe I'm just used to it 30. Might disagree with this too, I'd kinda like all the 25 singles to be stretched out as much as possible because who knows when she'll release another album. And if she's waiting for the BRIT awards that seems sensible (but preferably sooner than that)! 32. Yes yes yes Honestly this one is nowhere near as good lol. 34. Agreed! 39. He is a bigger name in the US, however this isn't really doing much here besides some minor airplay. Thanks again Mango Heya Hey James!1. Ariana Grande Focus [8-1] 2. Justin Bieber Sorry [2-2] SLAY A BIT. this is really good. it doesn't seem to be only Girls that are allowed to stan him anymore 3. Adele Hello [1-3] 5. Coldplay Adventure Of A Lifetime [27-5] 6.
