 I'm cautiously optimistic that even if singles don't do well, she could do decent album wise! ....well top 10. |

I've been a fan of both of the singles this era so far as well and I was always hit or miss on her before - it definitely now sounds like she's making music that she's more interested in herself which is great to hear.

i'm surprised by 'black mascara' as i can't imagine a label hating that... 'hard out here' is deffo something i'd expect from a US r&b singer

Not to diminish her accomplishments but she does have a 4-track radio committment with BBC. The largest broadcaster in the UK lol. Hardly no promotion. |

Video for 'Escapism' is out now and as per usual is fantastic. She's really bringing it this era!!
The song has really grown on me too. The only song I'm not keen on is 'The Thrill Is Gone' oops. |
