I almost went with 'Lots Of Nothing' as my BJSC entry! Guess I'll find out later if I eventually made the right choice.

Bizarrap/Shakira are a very deserved addition to your A-List - I'm really glad that managed to break through the language barrier and become a minor UK hit!
I think the only Everything But The Girl song I knew until now was Missing, but this is a great comeback for them. It sounds really fresh and fits in perfectly to the current electronic scene - not at all what I would've imagined from a group releasing for the first time in over 20 years! I just checked out that Santigold track and realised it was from an album I did listen to when it came out, but wasn't rly into it other than the track High Priestess. Also thanks for reminding me to actually check for new releases from some of these artists! |

I enjoy the Shakira/Bizarrap song more than I expected, that's now entered my chart as is Luude/Issey Cross
also quite like the new Freya Ridings song will have to give that Animals As Leaders song a proper listen too as I charted one of their other songs last year briefly. BABii, Everything But the Girl, Sibewest also sounds interesting from skimming your A-List |

Nice to see "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53" and "Gossip" in the A-List, as well as "Weekend" going into the B-List!
Great playlists |

PSYCHE_extended_ft_snowy_prod.pholo, Gemini, underwater all bangers Most importantly, Festival SLAYYYYYY EDIT: also stranger danger! I actually sent 'Tu Sì 'Na Cosa Grande' by In The Loop to BJSC a few years back (before you joined) so been following them for a while, was a pleasant surprise to see you knew of them! Hyped for The Go! Team's album as the singles have all been bops. And liking 'stranger danger!' a lot more than the hemlocke springs song in BJSC oop (although that is good too x) I almost went with 'Lots Of Nothing' as my BJSC entry! Guess I'll find out later if I eventually made the right choice. Well you certainly didn't make a wrong choice at least! Congrats on the qualifier x Bizarrap/Shakira are a very deserved addition to your A-List - I'm really glad that managed to break through the language barrier and become a minor UK hit! Yass, I was legit shook at it initially entering in the low top 200 on Spotify let alone climbing so much after that and actually making the top 40 haha. Yeah I also don't know much from EBTG and thought exactly the same about the new one, I saw someone on Reddit saying it sounds like an Overmono song. Really slots right in with the current scene indeed! And oh yeah I know the Santigold song is an old one, I just didn't listen to her album ('High Priestess' was the only one of the singles I particularly liked too oop) so this was the first time I checked this song out as it got a new music video. Happy for these playlists to serve as something of a release radar I enjoy the Shakira/Bizarrap song more than I expected, that's now entered my chart as is Luude/Issey Cross also quite like the new Freya Ridings song will have to give that Animals As Leaders song a proper listen too as I charted one of their other songs last year briefly. BABii, Everything But the Girl, Sibewest also sounds interesting from skimming your A-List The taste x Freya's newie reminds me a lot of Florence's more uptempo dancey pop songs, an unexpected sound from her but I'm liking it. Hope you do enjoy some of the A-List stuff the Animals As Leaders one is the same case as Santigold, came out on an album last year but just got a new music video, it's very intense but in a good way. Sibewest drops singles all the time and a lot of them don't do much for me but this is his best for a while. Nice to see "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53" and "Gossip" in the A-List, as well as "Weekend" going into the B-List! Great playlists Ty for the comment Leaving a new playlist at a silly hour of the morning for y'all to wake up to. The number of songs is already getting unwieldy again as the music industry wakes up. x |
