So 'Chained To The Rhythm' becomes the 3rd song this year so go straight to A-list. Some good additions to the C-list too this week, liking the Anne-Marie one straightaway smile.gif

Incredible for Little Mix to get a 10th week on the playlist with 'Touch' ohmy.gif

No doubt she'll climb next week but I'm surprised Zara has stalled on the C-list this week. Also I'm not sure why they're reluctant to move Bebe Rexha up.

'Human' feels at least two weeks overdue for removal now, although bizarrely this is its impact week so that probably explains why they've kept it on. Nonetheless I wish they'd hurry up and replace it with 'Skin'.

'Human' is waaaay overdue, I agree, even with the album out they should have just started pushing 'Skin'. That's incredible for Little Mix, I wonder why they took SOTME off so early but are sticking with this, it must be because they prefer its sound?

Amazing to see Katy straight to A list, is this the second time for a female after Adele or did Work get that too?

I worry for the future of 'So Good'

It actually is the first female solo single since Adele ohmy.gif (not counting Rihanna's feature on Calvin, or Taylor with Zayn)

Thought so! Amazing for her, I thought they'd stick her straight on B because they're never as enthusiastic about females.

I wouldn't say that, depend on the musical style more than the gender imo.

Good to see them altering their playlist additions to reflect the changing nature of the chart these days!

Great to see Katy and Anne-Marie both debut on the playlist, plus some good adds from the likes of Martin Garrix, Martin Solveig and Imagine Dragons *.* Also amazing to see Stormzy on the A-List, it's seriously smashing right now dance.gif

I guess The 1975 will stay on the C-List now while they wait for the release of By Your Side on the 21st February?

HUMAN STILL THERE?! Every now and then a song comes along that Radio 1 hammer to absolute insanity levels. Human is one of those songs. I hear the first few chords and I want to jump in the Thames

Ciao Adios is my favourite song of 2017 so far. SO GOOD

Whenever I used to listen to the 1975 album, I always heard the lyrics as "you should be loving salmon" and I never really thought about it - and had no idea what that song on the playlist was when I looked at it so had to go listen to it laugh.gif
