Hurray! A bunch of great songs from the ones I know, and a couple of epics, as well as a number of interesting looking ones.

Hopefully this contest will encourage a little more enthusiasm in time. I think this is a great second edition with lots of well known artists featuring with lesser known tracks. It is a tricky one to call, because I am not sure how people will vote, but I imagine the likes of Lorde, Will Ferrell & My Marianne, Imagine Dragons and Alanis Morissette to do quite well.
Would a listenthrough next Tuesday evening suit most people who wish to attend? |

Lol my first idea of a song to send to this was 'Dead Air' by CHVRCHES but I thought that was a little too uninspired - turns out someone else sent an even more obvious song from the same film :')

Looks a great line up (although in no way was Suspiria a blockbuster x ) |

Hiipe! Not sure all of these are blockbusters but it looks like a nice and varied listen through.
I think I can possibly make Tuesday evening if it doesn't start too late! |

Will Ferrell & My Marianne – Husavik (My Hometown) (from the movie Eurovision - The Story of Fire Saga) Some of those lower down did some GREAT numbers especially considering some were either limited releases or big indie flicks. Also, some did great numbers comparatively to it's budget etc.. Although I was shocked to learn that LOTR didn't hit $1bn! |

Good idea to compare them. There's a couple of exceptions but most of these are movies that made a ton of money and were initially very well-received (as opposed to cult classics, which is what I avoided when choosing).
It's a good set of songs, I'll be voting tomorrow. |
