Lots of potentials and rumors for the Polish National Final have been appearing in the media over the past few weeks, Likely BuzzFave Isabel Otrebus performed what's largely believed to be her entry in this year's mix "Delirium" at a New Year's Eve show last night;
BUT, I suspect it won't get the pick in the end as 2016's most unlikely televote stormer Michal Szpak is allegedly returning with this conveniently 3 minute long dirge |

Here we all were expecting Sergey Lazarev to be the comeback kid of 2016 and win in 2018 a la Dima Bilan yet no one was keeping an eye out for Michal sodding Szpak!
DON'T DO IT POLAND! |

oh i'm already imagining the gay coma everyone will fall into when this inevitably flops in favour of some dated crap
which is a shame as this has EUROVISION WINNER written all over it This post has been edited by ionderella: 24th January 2018, 12:11 AM |

It really does! It just gets more and more with every listen and would be SUCH a contender. I'm trying not to get too attached because it's gonna blatantly lose to Michal but omggggg

Szpak apparently NOT entering after all, could this mean Delirium now has a clear run at the ticket to Lisbon?
(lol jk they'll just pick some other dated dirge) |

Marta won the most recent season ov The Voice in Poland and it seems like she'll be entering with an English version of this song

Gromee recently had a massive hit so could be a contender although I imagine his music is difficult to translate into a live performance. Isabel should be in with a good shout this year assuming she’s not 3rd in the actual running order.

And the one that Ryan mentioned, I've seen this at the top of some odds Tbh although I think "Delirium" is still the best, any of these would probably be my favourite Polish entry of the past 10 years! |

It’s difficult to stage songs so heavy on instrumental breakdowns but if they can do it I’d love to see Gromee win - and I could also see it top 5 in Lisbon.
Marta will have the crazed Szpak fans behind her as he was her coach on The Voice. I love Gromee, Marta and Isabell - I really hope one of them wins! |

Delirium is easily my favourite here. Light It Up is a bit too tame to be the banger it could potentially be. Either way, both would score well with juries, which they havent done well with previously (and deservedly so).
