Hey everyone, over the last few months you have all been voting for your least favourite song, video and single cover and for each round points were allocated. Its now time to see just how you all voted and to find out what song is the ultimate package.
The aim is to post a minimum of 1 song per day but will post more depending on interactions from forum members.
Lets get the discussions going, there will be A LOT of surprises, lets see what you think about where your favourites appear, are songs too high or too low based on what you expected ? how did the biggest sellers do ? how did the fan favourites do ?

I think unless you're a hardcore fan you probably didn't know this even existed, this really is for me such a bland song and the chorus and how she says "Everlasting Night" has always annoyed me, give me "Coconut" over this any day.

Ok so the video is dire, the song is ok but I still think the cover deserved way more points, I really like it. The whole Get into you era was such a mess, it got better as it went along but overall just a mess.

I remember at the time really liking this when I saw it performed on Saturday morning tv (probably Going Live), now I find it very forgettable and it doesn't surprise me its so low on the countdown.

I don’t think the record company expected SYTWTG to flop like it did .
As you say the whole era was a mess. Still shocked 5 singles were released from it.

Such a bad start but I do think it got better with the later releases, I really like "This Is It", "This Is the Way" and "Get into You" and these should have been the first 3 releases. The problem is that while This is it is the better song, releasing a cover as your first track wouldn't have worked and I don't think any of the other songs would have been good first single material.

This is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to low for me, its a personal opinion but for me this is top 5 or top 3 material when it comes to the song, ok yes, the video and cover aren't great but how dare you all not let it get 500 points for the song alone hahaha.

I agree too, when disrememberance was released I didnt take much notice but I really like it now.

'Show You The Way To Go' was also a cover, originally sung by The Jacksons, and yeah do agree releasing a cover as the lead didn't work, hence its poor #30 chart placing. Not really a fan of Dannii's early material (bar 'This Is It' & maybe 'Jump To The Beat' for the cheesy nostalgia factor), but as for the rest either average or below, and haven't listened to her first 2 albums (only know the singles), and considering the not so impressive run of 'Get Into You' singles, I'm not really interested. So I don't know if anything else on that album would have worked better as the lead single.
Considering they'd already released a cover for the first single, they'd may as well released 'TII' as the first single, considering that was the only real success from this sub-par era. 'Love's On Every Corner' was also terrible, aged horribly and should have been scrapped along with 'SYTWTG' from the album entirely. 'This Is The Way' and the title track are harmless enough, but very MEH.

Shame to see 'Disremembrance' so affected by the video and cover as the song itself is great. Who doesn't love strings in a dance song?
Not fussed about the rest but I'd have liked to have seen 'Galaxy' a little higher. It's pretty dated and cheap but I do have a soft spot for it.

Thankfully she turned things around a few years later by heading into Dance music, which really suited her far better, as her early pop stuff was mainly bland (apart from 1 or 2 little gems).
'Disremembrance' - really doesn't deserve to be that low, especially amongst what's dropped so far. Its a beautiful track and definitely stands as one of her strongest and better numbers. Its UK peak of #21 always annoyed me , as it just missed the top 20 by the skin of its teeth and we didn't get the planned 4th single the wonderful 'Heaven Can Wait', which would have ended this era perfectly and given us 4 strong singles instead of just 3. It was even remixed for its release namely the 7" Mix (which I've posted below).

'Jump To The Beat' - Always have fond memories of this, so dated, so cheesy, yet very much fun. Although compared to her later hits, this does kinda fall a bit short, but in her early run, this definitely ranks up quite high.

Jump to the beat has her worst ever video for me. I love the track but its difficult to hear her phrasing.
